Altera is one of many planets plagued by the constant violence, it's countryside and cities flattened to smouldering ruins, unnatural craters dotting the landscape for miles.

Vast expanses of silty mud are the closest resemblance to land masses on this consistently rainy planet; a grid work of long black highways connect sparse research settlements and military outposts, all of which are stilted up level with the mud's surface. The untamed oceans of deep water are left to nature's will, the depths and ferocity of which are typically considered unworkable.

Ralayina is entirely desert, and supports many neutral zortink mines and quarries, and one zortink metal factory. Aside from colonization it is entirely barren, it's breathtaking spans of sand and massive cliffs devoid of any life whatsoever. The planet is currently in Red Zone status.
