Title: Scientific History Museum
Description: Just outside the DSRI

Prof. Landori - June 18, 2009 09:29 PM (GMT)
This building is much like many others of Dwin, made of stone with intricate and beautiful carvings on it. It is however the second largest building on the planet (3rd if you count the hidden sheild generator hub). Within it are stored every ship ever constructed, every prototype invissioned and evey Idea scribbled down on Dwin...

Prof. Landori - June 18, 2009 09:36 PM (GMT)
Prof. Yar lead the Judicator to the ship section. It was realy a huge bay containing a range of ships so large, people can spend most of their lives inspecting them.
'This is the 'Jump pod' as it is called, because of the afore mentioned acurate warp system. What he was showing her was a space craft the size of a 7 seat car. It contained a one man cockpit and was covered in blue glowing lines 'They're known as a warp shell' he explained indicating at them 'Essentialy the whole ship is a warp engine'...

Xel'ena Edullon - June 20, 2009 06:16 AM (GMT)
*As the Judicator strolled around the object her head rose up and down conservatively and observantly.

" What kind of armor, arsenal, and speed thrust statistics surround this vehicle? "

This was most proposed as the Eretians were looking to update and uniform an almost non-exist ant fleet.

Prof. Landori - June 20, 2009 09:15 PM (GMT)
'The craft has amazingly high ressistance to energy weponry, purely by accedent - the craft must withstand the energy of hyperspace you see. But it is a small craft so it can't take too much of a beating, but its size and mobility make it hard to hit.

As for arsenal, this model has no wepons, however any small cannon can be fitted on to it, if you look under it you will find that the pannel comes dirrectly off revealing conections to the computer and powercore. The slot can only hold one addition, this addition does not need to be a weapon, various pieces of technology that may prove useful can be intergrated easily. One piece may not sound like much but these craft can easily can be mass produced.

Obviously speed is the main feature of the craft. As well as being able to warp quickly and accurately (OOC; which is much better than simple speed), it can out run most zerian fighters and match most alliance ones, not to mention it is more mobile. Although if the pilot isn't good their supirior weaponry my win out...

Xel'ena Edullon - June 20, 2009 09:30 PM (GMT)
*The Judicator nodded in return.

" Quite the craft, if it is anything as other technologically applied advancements that you and your people have developed then this will truly be a remarkable addition to our fleet. However such a piece of equipment is not without its price. What do you seek in return for such a craft? "

Prof. Landori - June 21, 2009 10:05 AM (GMT)
'We share our technology freely, we only ask that you do the same for us. However if you find yourself unable to build them, we will do so, but we will need payment for the matirials and labour' The sharing of technolgy between cultures was one of the most important aspects of Dwin's society. It was this that kept them neutral for such a long time.

Xel'ena Edullon - June 21, 2009 08:22 PM (GMT)
" Labor will not be necessary for it is assured that it will be replicated quite easily through our own technology. However, "

The Judicator reached over to her back retrieving a small metallic object with three flaps with odd polygon shape, to humanoid standards that is, and a central green 'orb' to the center of its top.

" I hold here one of our more... recent technological advancements, the Exura, or the Hyper Hyrah Core in your language. "

The object then began to pulsate as if sucking energy from the Judicator's hand and armor.

" Alone it carries little purpose, but with another object it becomes of great importance. "

There the Judicator then placed the object upon a small armor blade that covered her wrist and upper hand. The object then began to pulse slowly at its 'orb' a few times and then radically began to flash into a green emerald light. There from the armor a Psionic Warp Blade appeared shooting energy far out forwards from the Judicator several feet, quite abnormal length for a PSI Warp Blade; if blade even seen before at that.

The energy pulsed in a foliated green, similar in color but not in shape to the 'orb' upon the Hyper Hyrah Core. The blade began to shiver slowly extending even farther now outwards and a searing heat began to overcome the area.

" Observe. "

The Judicator then proceeded away from the professor and other objects threatened by the blade and heat there by making several ingenious moves with her hands, and hence weapon, in the air. The blade, now fully extended from the Hyper Hyrah Core, would seep and sear even changing the most strongest ionized and bonded gas around into a rapid and erratic form.

However, after around 30 seconds of using the core it would drain the pulsation to a dim and darker green, there by causing the blade to recede to its original length of 3' ft (0.91 m.) Then, in order to allow talks to continue, the Judicator shook her arm turning the Psionic Warp Blade off for the moment and returned back to Yaar holding out the Hyper Hyrah Core for him to inspect.

" As you can see this object has great strength and capabilities when applied to our technology, however, an extended period of cooling and re-ammunition, as it requires Hyrah directly from one of our homeliest of homes, such as Eretia. "

There the Judicator would close her eyes and send a jolt of energy from her armor chest plate through the armor on her arms and then to her wrist and hands to the Hyper Hyrah Core, temporarily re-energizing it with a light pulse.

Prof. Landori - June 21, 2009 08:46 PM (GMT)
The weapon made Yar uncomfortable, but the technology facinated him. 'Hyrah is a facinating reasorce, we haven't had much contact with your species so we know very little about it. Does it have any applications beyond Psionic energy?'
Prof. Yar hoped that, trade could be established for the reasource. Who knows what could come from research into it? Perhaps it could be intergrated into their ships? It was plentyful to them, they would benefit alot from having ships that used it.

Xel'ena Edullon - June 22, 2009 01:29 AM (GMT)
" Hyrah has many properties and practicalities with great potential for mold and development to its users application. The Hyrah itself is property to our people and can not be dictated without permission from every individual unanimously. Though, we shall still share our technology, but they Hyrah by which it works or by which the technology may be applied must be granted from Eretians in whole or moreover the council that guides and provides for us: the Council of Elders. "

The Judicator then bowed before Yaar graciously as she would pull out the lowly pulsating core of the Hyper Hyrah Core, there by handing it over into his hands. There the Hyper Hyrah Core would re attach to her armor and the object would pulse with energy throughout Yaar's veins, as if what the humanoids called 'the weave' was seeping through it every time.

" Let this mark the beginning of a fruitful and lasting relationship between the members of Eretia and the people of Dwin. "

Prof. Landori - June 22, 2009 09:26 PM (GMT)
(it's Yar not Yaar, sorry, just you have done that twice now)

'Thankyou, I know that all the people of Dwin will strive to up hold it.
Now, you also mentioned a ship to provide cover. Do you mean a sort of reinforced carrier, capable of suporting a large crew and arsenal?'

Xel'ena Edullon - June 22, 2009 09:28 PM (GMT)
*The Judicator nodded.

" Indeed, something that would be capable of both supporting the craft previously identified as well, to the least of extents, able to avoid or defend from imposing threats. "

Prof. Landori - June 26, 2009 02:33 PM (GMT)
'I think I know just the one' he lead her through the spaceship sections. As they walked through them the ships and the sections that held them grew gradualy larger. Eventualy they were in a HUGE hanger deep below the ground. 'the larger ships have to bee down here becaue it is the only place where we can expand indefinately.' he explained. They contined walking untill thay reached a massive craft. It must have been able to hold 1000s of men. The craft looked like this
user posted image

'The Icarus. The craft was initialy developed to be able to fly IN TO stars, but has since been modified for more general use. It can sustain its habitat systems indefinately, so it doesn't need to stop in order to resupply for oxygen or food. The hull is extreemly strong due to its original perpous and with the aid of shields it would take a sizable force to take down one.'

Xel'ena Edullon - June 28, 2009 06:36 PM (GMT)
*The Judicator would slowly approach the ship sliding her hands gently along the sides of the hull as she has done before as if feeling every microfiber and nano that fitted it together.

" How interesting. And how many light crafts could one fit upon such a object? Surely quite a few, but specifics we look for. "

Xel'ena Edullon - June 28, 2009 08:13 PM (GMT)
" Beep Beep Beep. "

Her wrist began to glisten with an eminating green from the absorption crystals as the communicator went off.

" It appears I must leave immediatley, there are important matters to settle on Eretia. Thank you for your time and patience in such matters, may our people meet again. "

There Edullon made her way to the docking bay.

SamWashington - July 17, 2009 07:04 AM (GMT)
A massive structure sat within a large room, covered in Precursor glyphs. It was from this that the Gates had been reverse engineered... but its sister Gate was long offline, thought to exist in a neighboring galaxy. The glyphs were lit up... many thought that, one day, it would come to life and easy contact would be established with Galaxy 2 or 4.

SamWashington - July 19, 2009 03:52 PM (GMT)
And so it did, mid-lecture...
"It is believed that the Precursors planted one of these Gates in every galaxy. However, this theory was debunked by the simple fact that, if this were true, it would have--"
The gate suddenly lit up and activated. Those seated in front of it fled, as well as the museum worker giving the lecture. The Halo Wrath, damaged and burning, buffeted through, crashing through one...two...three walls, thankfully injuring no one before it skidded to a halt, nose buried in a trail of rubble. There was an SOS signal coming from the ship...

Prof. Landori - July 19, 2009 08:48 PM (GMT)
Prof. Lazara was inspecting one of the old Mach 1 'Crush Cruisers'. Suddenly the sensors went off. Then she heared the crash. Wasting no time she grabbed her personal shield emitter and her comunicator.

'Some sort of explosion in the musium, it think it was in Arcology someone bring the heavy shields and some doctors just in case' she said as she ran towards the origin of the noise.'

SamWashington - July 19, 2009 08:59 PM (GMT)
A smoking smoldering wreck of a large Zortinc vessel, with flecked red paint and scratched golden lettering: The Halo Wrath. Entry was by means of a set of doors at ground level--looking into the windows one could see dark, sinister shapes flitting about...

Prof. Landori - July 19, 2009 09:06 PM (GMT)
Maynie Lazara ran passed crouds of worried people shouting strange things about artifacts and distant galaxies. But the ship she saw was blatantly from G3, alliance if she were to guess. She switch on the shield, to a range of about a meter around her and ran into the smoke.

SamWashington - July 19, 2009 09:46 PM (GMT)
The door would loom open at her approach. A mutated humanoid, with long claws, increased muscle mass, and white, dead, eyes, leapt out from the ship, and began to claw, pound, and bite at the shield, screaming at the top of its lungs all the way. It certainly didn't look like anything from this galaxy...

Prof. Landori - July 20, 2009 08:47 PM (GMT)
Maynie watched it infacination, she was no biologist but she knew Eni would give her life to be here. She spoke to her comunicator again 'OK, there is some dangerous creature here. Seal the main doors, activate forcefields but make sure there are people there to let trapped people out. And contact Eni, or Quiik or somebody I have a xenobiologist's dream trying to kill me.'

After filming a minutes worth of the creature, she pressed a sirries of buttons and the shield glowed blue. The next bash the shield took would result in photonic plasma to course through the creature, killing it instantly.

SamWashington - July 20, 2009 10:05 PM (GMT)
The interior of the Halo Wrath was in shambles. Holes in the wall and floor sparked with severed wires, white noise filled the air from several monitor screens that had static flickering about. The creatures would ambush from around corners and out of vents...a few used to be Tainted Darrians, Zerians, and even an Eretian...Sam's attempt at forming a crew, no doubt. The rest of the infected appeared to be of a humanoid race completely unknown to the residents of Sirona, no doubt once natives to Galaxy 4.

Prof. Landori - July 20, 2009 10:20 PM (GMT)
Maynie clambered on to the ship the occational monster turning diving at her and dieing. 'Hello!' she called 'Is anyone there?'

Meanwhile a group of scientists, public servants and securety officers were sealing up exits, evacuating people and trying to control the creatures.

Quiik - July 21, 2009 12:05 PM (GMT)
(well since 50188 hasn't replied in 2 months...)

Quiik ran up to the musium, he had got Prof. Lazara's message since Eni wasn't on the planet right now. The guards looked at him 'Quiik! What the hell? You can't go in there you're Landori's son.'

'I'm also the highest ranking Xenobiologist on Dwin.' He replied with authority 'So let me in, we have to find out what these monsters are, and where they came from.'

'They came from the ancient gate.' stuttered a traumatised man 'and one of them looked Darian.'

Quiik watched as the man ran off, then noticing the guards were destracted he opened the shield door (fancy name for 'tempory hole in the shield') and ran into the musium.

He soon started to hear screams and twisted cries and quickly flicked on the shield emmiter he had brought with him. And just in time. Suddenly a clawed creature lunged at him, colided with the repulser shield, then found itself flying across the hall.

What the heck was that?! he thought.

SamWashington - July 23, 2009 12:34 AM (GMT)
"This is Samuel Allen Washington, ex-maintainer, freelance engineer broadcasting on all signals, someone please pick up. This message will repeat every thirty seconds until someone responds."

Prof. Landori - July 23, 2009 10:15 AM (GMT)
Maynie's communicator made a small sound, the signal was strong enough in here to be detected by it. After some fiddling she was able to pick up what it said.

"This is Samuel Allen Washington, ex-maintainer, freelance engineer broadcasting on all signals, someone please pick up. This message will repeat every thirty seconds until someone responds."

When the message ended she pressed a few buttons on her comunicator, they were ment to speak only to other the comunicators owned by DSRI members on a private and coded wavelength. But Prof. Lazara knew how to change that. After a minute and some monsters getting fried she spoke into the communicator 'Hello, Mr. Washington, are you there? Are you OK?' while the questions were sincere, there was a hollowness in her tone, a distinct lack of concern.

SamWashington - July 23, 2009 06:25 PM (GMT)
"Things....boarded my ship, turned my crew... barely managed to barricade myself in the food-storage chamber.....talk more......in person....................." Static.

Prof. Landori - September 8, 2009 09:47 PM (GMT)
'Very well, I shall make my way there' she responded once again with a calm and slighty emotionless voice.

Traveling through the ship she was careful to avoid creatures to conserve the power on her shild, it could easily protect her for a long time, but expanding its range by even twice the amount would quarter the battery life. (ie. battery life is proportional to the inverse square of the field size)

She wasn't sure where she was going exactly so she had to frequently ask for directions...

SamWashington - September 11, 2009 10:09 AM (GMT)
He gave her directions until he found himself face to face with her in the food storage chamber. The creatures seemed to back down for now... "Finally..." (Tired....i'll put more on this post later)

Prof. Landori - September 21, 2009 09:42 PM (GMT)
'Hi I'm Professor Maynie Lazara from the DSRI' said Maynie. Her voice sounded empty and rehersed. She was quite tall with long brown hair. She reached for her device and expanded the field around Mr. Washington she then pressed a button and a wall formed in the shield seperating both of them. 'Sorry about this' she said with out much actual remorse 'but you said they 'turned' your crew, if that condition is contagious I can't take any chances.'

SamWashington - September 25, 2009 10:36 PM (GMT)
"I'm pretty sure I'm immune...otherwise, I'd be one by now. But that's beside the point. Get me to the control panel, and I'll be able to see what I can do about containing these....space zombies."

Prof. Landori - September 25, 2009 10:55 PM (GMT)
'What do you plan to do?' she asked ''forgeting'' to take down the barrier between them.

SamWashington - September 27, 2009 12:12 AM (GMT)
"...What I plan to do is re-activate the internal defenses. They were remotely disabled in Galaxy 4 moments before the attack." He said. "The Gate was as much of a godsend as it was a slap in the face....." He muttered.

Prof. Landori - September 27, 2009 01:34 AM (GMT)
'Ok then. Lead the way, I'll follow.'
On their way there she asked 'G4?'

SamWashington - September 27, 2009 02:08 AM (GMT)
"Yes, Galaxy 4. I left Sirona to see what the rest of the galaxies held...though I didn't get far. As you can see, space zombies, for lack of a better term, infested my ship. I've been holed up in the food storage chamber for awhile... I think one of them might have taken the helm, because somehow, the ship flew through the Gate that brought me to Dwin, apparently...don't know how I'm going to get off Dwin, because I'm ex-Alliance, and don't want to join Zeria. And I know you're thinking: HOW THE FUCK DID HE GET TO GALAXY FOUR...well, I have a nifty little device that I think will make up for the damages that I did to whatever building you guys stashed the Gate in." He said, tentatively making his way out of the chamber. "You'll be the one in front if we run into any tangos...all I can do is heal at the moment."

Prof. Landori - September 27, 2009 04:25 PM (GMT)
'This is the Dwin scientific history musium. Possibly the greatest house if knowlage in the galaxy... how can any one thing be worth destroying so much of it' For once her voice hinted actual emotion.
'And what are tangos?'

SamWashington - September 27, 2009 08:43 PM (GMT)
"Slang for Hostile Contacts, but never mind that. This ship is capable of high-speed travel between galaxies, due to the presence of a device known as a 'Greater Warp Drive'. Dwin's scientists could certainly put it to good use. Retrofit it to your ships, and you can use the Gate to bypass the Zerian blockade." He said. Three Maintenance Hover Drones flitted up. "Bzz....In...Intruders Dete dete detected..." "Oh fuck..." They floated forward, menacingly brandishing their built-in engineering tools. "The crash must have jarred their programming." He said, stepping behind her as white, soothing light began to manifest in his hands.

Prof. Landori - September 30, 2009 04:20 PM (GMT)
'Don't worry if they even touch the shield their curcuits will over load. Did you make them?' She walked on 'And anyway we can freely travel through the blockade, they only stop ships if they are suspect of carrying people from the alliance.'

SamWashington - October 2, 2009 08:00 AM (GMT)
He gave a shrug. The Utility Drones did indeed overload their circuits on the shield. "Yes, I did make them, though...it seems my engineering needs a lot of work..." He said, sighing. "In any case, the bridge is just up ahead." He said, sighing as he entered the damaged bridge and sat down in his chair, entering commands into the computer. "Every planet I sent a recon drone to was covered in those...things." He said, sighing. "I made sure to stay out of contact with them, but...a ship approached. It used this weird weapon to disable all systems, and the next thing I know I'm being boarded. If you choose to go through the Gate, be careful... I'd wager to say that entire galaxy is Infected. It is an archeological jackpot, though. And that ought to do it!" "INTERNAL DEFENSES ARE NOW ONLINE. MULTIPLE INTRUDERS DETECTED." The sound of laser fire echoed throughout the Halo Wrath.

Prof. Landori - October 3, 2009 08:55 PM (GMT)
'Thats good' her body language didn't suggest any joy 'I think you should be brought straight to the DSRI hospital though'
'By the way do you know how the portal works?'
