1) RATING: This site is rated R. This means that swearing, use of drugs, drinking, violence, and sexual activities can and will occur. As this is a fighting site, there will be many of this and will not need to be marked. However, people will want to read your posts and if they're always filled with sex and drugs... Well, its not good if the people reading don't like that stuff. If you are going to have a thread with sex, please mark it with an 'R'. If there will be drugs or drinking, please mark it with a 'PG-13'. This will allow those who do not want to read those things to have a warning so they do not enter. To those of you who do not want to read or write anything sexual or drug related, don't do it. We do not want to hear complaints about the site when you were already warned.

2) LEVEL: This is an intermediate/advanced RPG. This means that players can and will be making lengthy posts. We require at least one good paragraph, and would like a 300 word minimum. We are very aware that muse is not present all of the time. If you're having trouble replying, feel free to take some time out to get your thoughts collected. But, it is not fair for someone to put a three or four paragraph post and getting replied with three or four sentences. If you cannot handle this, do not join.

3) CBOX: The cbox is present for people to chat in or out of character. It is a fun place for players to talk, so there are some rules for it. One, no "I'm always unhappy and life is pain." In other words: emo. (To not create confusion, this does not mean no emo characters. Just no emo in the cbox.) We at GUC do care very much for the members, so if you have a problem, feel free to PM an admin, mod, or another player and you will be helped that way. But we do not want to see it in the cbox. Two, no fighting. If you want to have a little in character fight, that's fine, but NOTHING other than that. If we find out you have been fighting in the cbox, you will be warned. If it persists, you will be suspended. If it keeps going, you will be banned. This is a fun site and if you have issues with other players, take it outside the public's eye and TALK THROUGH IT. If you need assistance from an admin about another player, we will be happy to help. But if there is any fighting in the cbox, there will be consequences. Three, as this is an R rated site, there is swearing. We are not going to ask you to not swear in the cbox, for even the admins do it, but if someone gets offended and asks for minimal cursing, please respect this. We can warn in the threads, we cannot warn in the cbox.

4) GOD MODDING: This is NOT accepted. When you sign up as a character, you play that character, not anyone else's.

What is acceptable:
"John asked Natalie if she wanted to go to the movies and he waited for her reply."
What is not acceptable:
"John asked Natalie if she wanted to go to the movies and when she said yes, he was very happy."

None of that. It is up to the other person what their character is going to do, not up to you. If we find out you've been god modding, you will be warned. If it persists, you will be suspended. If it continues, you will be banned.

5) REGISTERING: When you register for a character, put a first and last name. NO MIDDLE NAMES! Names like "Adelina De Marco" are okay, as the "De" is a part of the last name. "Adelina Anne De Marco" is not okay. And no spam names. "guc_stud" and "fightclubgrl" are not okay. We want real names. If there are middle names or spam names, they will be deleted without warning and you will have to start over. If you would like a canon, register as the canon and then apply for the character you want. An admin will read through your application and accept it when and how they see fit.

6) APPLYING: When filling out an application for a character, please read through it thoroughly and follow all the rules. If we ask for a 100 word description of physical features, make it AT LEAST 100 words. It is so frustrating to have to tell people to fix their applications. If you do not have a word count to check, ask an admin and they will do it for you.

7) FACE CLAIM: Once your character is accepted, you MUST sign the face claim. This will allow you to keep your celebrity and no one else may use the face. There are exceptions for twins and things like that, but only through the permission of an admin. If you do not sign up for a face claim and someone else does, they get the celebrity and you must choose someone else. Mirrors MUST be celebrities! No cartoons, no myspace personalities, no pictures of you. CELEBRITIES ONLY!

8) NO PERFECT CHARACTERS: No character can be perfect. People make mistakes. There cannot be one person who has the best life or one person who has the worst life. Make them well rounded.

9) SIGNATURES/AVATARS: We all love them, don't we? But there are some rules with them. NO vulgar pictures. This means no exposed breasts or genitalia. If they're covered and it is within reason, run it by an admin to get the approval to use it. The secret words are in tyler we trust. If anyone does not abide by these rules, the signature will get deleted and you will receive a warning. If the problem persists, you will be suspended. If it continues, you will be banned. Also, do not make signatures so big that they stretch the page. 500x200 seems to be a great size, but nothing bigger than that. Smaller is fine, or if you would like a couple of icons, that is okay too. But nothing more than 500x200. With the avatars, they must not be more than 100x100 in size. But that's pretty much the only rule on that one.

10) SPECIAL ABILITIES: No. There is no flying, no walking through walls, no super strength, no x ray vision, no nothing. These are not magically inclined people, just your everyday Joe's who like to fight. You know the rules, you have been warned. If there are any complaints about not getting any special abilities, you will be suspended without warning. If it persists, you will be banned.

11) DEATH: As sad as it is, people do die. However, we do not want characters made that are just going to die a few weeks later. If you want a death, you MUST PM an admin first and get permission and you MUST have a good reason. There will also be no murdering any characters (ie, one character killing another) unless you have permission from the character you wish to kill and an admin.

12) OTHER: Remember to stay active! If you are going to be gone for more than three days, make a note in the advertisements. There will be sweeps once every six months (for now) to delete characters that are no long active. Also, once every three months (for now) we will be doing a thread sweep and deleting the ones that are no longer being played. And, when you're making your character, make sure to switch it up. We do not want exactly the same characters all the time. Spice it up a bit.

13) MOST IMPORTANT RULE: HAVE FUN!
