Below you will find the Plot to Fire and Blood. It will share many similarities with the Story, however be a little more focused on things and happenings around the year that the site takes place.
Prior to the below happenings however, vines of rage have already grown between the Lannister's and the ruling Targaryen's. Tywin Lannister had been hand of the King for some time, but withdrew from the position after Aerys scorned him and his family. Prince Rhaegar was supposed to marry Cersei Lannister, but just before it was dated, Aerys instead forced his sun to wed the Dornish Princess Elia. Aerys then forced Jamie Lannister, Tywin's heir to Casterly Rock to enlist in the King's Guard; thus removing him from the ability to inherit the Lannister homelands. Tywin, enfuriated by such actions, withdrew as hand of the King and he and his family traveled back to Casterly Rock, aside from Jamie who had to stay and perform his new duties.
The year is 281, month and day unkown. The great tournament at Harrenhal has just recently taken place where Prince Rhaegar caused a rather large....scuff in the honor of both the Dornish and the Stark's. Instead of passing the winter rose crown of 'the queen of beauty' onto his wife, the princess of Dorne, he instead placed it in the lap of Lyanna Stark, the daughter of Rickard Stark and Betrothed to Robert Baratheon. While this had led to little more than grumblings and whispering and some silent seething, it has sewn the seeds of anger and resentment towards the Prince. This is a larger issue than it seems as the king, Aerys 'The Mad King' as he's been called dances on the brink of madness. Aerys' cruelty and actions have been dealt with because of Rhaegar's popularity and how the people love him. Without that love, Aerys seems all the more unfit to rule.
Fire and Blood picks up shortly after this, somewhere between one and two years before the start of the outright rebellion, close to a year before prince Rhaegar kidnaps Lyanna Stark. Will thing's go as they have in the series? With Robert still win the crown? Maybe the Dragon's win this time or a new challenger arises to claim the iron throne. Anything can happen.
