although there are a lot of old fashioned houses here, there are also 2 apartment buildings on either side of town and a trailer park on the edge of town that reach into the forest. there are also farm houses out on the other side of town that isn't surrounded by forest.

there all sorts of sit in restaurants and fast food joints here at gyeoljeong. there are even produce stands if you know where to look.

whether you need groceries, clothes, or toys. come here with all your shopping needs! gyeoljeong has a large grocery store, as well as a small corner store. it also has a stripmall that consists of restaurants and clothing stores. there are many small stores and a couple larger stores that you can get top brands at.

There are two schools in town. One is grades K-6, and right next to it is the other school that is 7-12. Since the town is so small, they never needed to expand to multiple schools for different grades.

even though gyeoljeong is a small town compared to seoul and busan, there is still enough to entertain everyone here. whether you looking for movies, bowling, or skating, there are all sorts of places to go to here.

gyeoljeong may not be a huge town, however with the addition of the two colleges, the town now has a brand new club called double r that just opened up over the winter break! come on by the club, or head on over to the local bars. pick your poison and have a good time! that's what college is for, right?!

there is a hospital, fire company, even an animal hospital here in gyeoljeong. the town is too small to have more than one of each emergency building, however they're all here.

gyeoljeong has all sorts of beautiful nature areas. not to mention it's practically surrounded by a huge forest on one side where the schools are hidden in, there are also parks and some farms at the edge of town.
