This site was originally created and ran three years ago by four friends, reaching a reasonable number of members and posts. (Well, maybe not "reasonable" to those people who have sites with 100+ members, but whatever. I usually prefer small sites.)
Two of those same friends have decided to revamp and reopen the site on a whim, and thus Fukai Mori Institute was born once more. The last run of the site taught us quite a few things, as all learning experiences do. We hope to once more have some great fun causing chaos on campus! Fukai Mori Brochure
The pamphlet caught your eye, standing out amongst all the professional, business looking ones. A swirl of cherry blossom petals drifted from the night sky, as if the twinkling stars were throwing them down to Earth from the heavens. At the very bottom edge, a town glowed, pronouncing the distance between civilization and wilderness. No text marred the beauty of the scene. Reaching your hand out, you pick the brochure up, a slight tingle at your finger tips... or your mind playing tricks on you? Your fingers turn the page...

Intercom System
Once in a while, the familiar voice of the mysterious Ms. Mori drifts from countless speakers stationed around the school grounds. She informs both the school staff and system body of any important changes. On other occasions, the voice of Ms. Fatin booms from the speakers to fulfill this position. Both ensure every school member is on track with the current ongoings of Fukai Mori.

This could be due to a problem with your account, character, or even with other members. In addition, help with creating your character can be found here. I guess this is the general "ask for help of any kind" forum, including with individual threads/plots.

Hiring Notice
Gliding through the glass doors, you can't help but notice the all too familiar red lettering of the "WANTED" sign. After inquiring at the main desk, your find yourself redirected to a bulletin wall. Searching the various papers tacked to the wall, you finally spot a particular piece of paper bearing the same WANTED print. Positions line the paper, empty spaces waiting to be filled...

School Registration
The secretary hands you an oak clipboard, smooth to touch but with rough edges. A pen hangs off from a string attached to the metal clip, dangling with a swing that gives you the impression it's just waiting for your hand to take it. You take one of the cushioned seats, taking the pen's invitation as you begin to fill out the typical white and black form...

Character Extras
This is for any character add-ons you can think of, from plot pages, to journals, to logging. Plot pages are for character relations for those not familiar with them. Journals are for your character's thoughts day to day, pretty self-explanatory really. Logging is for those that want ease with keeping track of the threads they're in or character plots they have going.

Main Building
You tilt your head back, almost cracking your neck just to spot the top of the building. You count the floors as you slowly bring your gaze downward, one, two, three, four... and finally, five. If you hadn't known it was a school, you would've mistaken it for a mansion. The cry of children draw your attention to a brightly colored playground, just barely visible behind the building. To the other side, a smaller side building stands like the younger brother, courts decorating its sides. Returning your gaze to the main building, you wonder if you dare enter its grand hallways... oh, what the hell, why not?

Individual Threads
Aside from the main thread, members can create their own threads here to RP with just another member or a few others. My only requirement is you relate the time to the main thread, i.e. stating your character had gone off after some event in the main thread. You may, of course, continue to post in the main thread along with your individual thread. Individual threads will still be included in the updates section, but not if I have no time line to relate it to the main thread. The plus side of individual threads is NPC teachers or the such will not interrupt.

Fukai Mori Inn
You notice an old, beaten path that disappears between the trees as you stroll across the grounds. Curious, you follow it to (surprisingly enough) an old-fashioned inn. Shouts from various people meet your ears even outside, crowding together in a mess of gibberish. You notice steam rising from the back, possibly hot baths hidden behind the building? The delicious smells of food and drink assault your senses as you near...

Bulletin Board
Wandering the school hallways, you come across a large board that practically engulfs the wall. Student, and on occasion staff, posted flyers fill the board. Every color of the spectrum appears to be on some. You're not sure if the intent of half of them are to be "eye-catching" or "eye-blinding".
