Basics -> Full Name: Samantha Sophie Dawlish -> Birthdate:23th of July, 1960 -> Alumni Hogwarts House: Gryffindor -> Age:20 -> Eye Color: cobalt blue (or turqouise) Samantha has never been very fond of her eyes, even though loads of people claim that they are her best feature so far. First of all, they are large and almond-shaped, with a bit of cat-who-ate- the-canary look in them, in fact Sam would bear their shape if not for the colour that she has inherited after her Swedish grandmother. Unique, one would say, but the fact that her eyes can't really decide whether they are green or blue annoys Miss Dawlish up to the extreme. -> Hair: blonde Her sunny hair is another gift from her late grandmother. Dawlish's snowy mane would have been perfect if not for the fact that it is highly untameable. Yes, she hates her hair and nobody can really talk her out of it. Cascades of thick curls aren't really very fitting for an Auror, so Samanthat is left with two ways of solving that problem; either using liberal amounts of a straightening potion and pulling in back into a flick ponytail or cutting it short. -> Body type: voluptous Samantha has always had her curves, which in her early childhood resulted in being plump. However, thank gods for hormones and blooming. From a pudgy child she had grew up to me a very feminine woman. Neither tall neither too short as she reached 5'6" she has ineed a stunning figure with every curve nicely accented. When she started to turn into a woman it all became incredibly awkward for her, she had never been stared on, especially by boys and she could not find herself in this new situation. It was bearable when she was hidden underneath her school robes, but when is something more figure clinging she was often accused of 'strutting her stuff', which was at the time very hurtful to her. Now she has somewhat put up with her body and own her sexuality. Though she still hates being perceived as a blonde bombshell or a plaything, it's the easiest way to hurt her. -> Hygenic Habits: There's nothing more relaxing than a nice, hot bath after work and for Samantha her 'bathroom time' is really precious, especially when you work as an Auror. As probably every girl out there Sam likes clothes, though comfort of wearing is the most important thing she looks for while searching for a new clothing purchase is comfort. When out of her clinging Auror uniform, she chooses something light, comfortable and tomboyish. Of course, she loves elegant dress robes that enhance her womanly figure but in those dark and difficult times there isn't really a good moment to get all dolled up. Sum up their overall appearance: What hits you first when you cross paths with Miss Dawlish is that she undoubtedly is a very beautiful woman. Though as you meet her further that simple fact is overwhelmed by her fierce personality. But there's one thing very characteristical about her, that definitely gets sealed in the minds of watchers is the way she walks, with that private little rythm in her behind and a light sway of her hips she moves as though to music only she can hear, mesmerising those around her. Of course, Samantha has also flaws, one of them (the one that is most despised by the owner) is tha fact that she puts on weight easily and must be really careful when choosing what to eat. Personality Samantha Dawlish, much like her father, has never been calm and composed, even though she can't be considered as someone loud and obnoxious either. At Hogwarts she was studious and tried to steer clear from trouble, the problem is trouble usually found her, or rather her temperamental nature led her towards it. Passionate, impulsive, fiery and hot-headed she got herself into a countless line of duels and fights during her years at Hogwarts, especially that she was much of tomboy at these times (in fact she still is).She accepted every punishment she was presented with afterwards, knowing that she indeed deserved each detention she had gotten herself into. Samantha is someone who is very brave, almost to a fault. For those that get on her good side she is able to do absolutely everything and protect them at all costs whenever it is nessecary, which leads to her more sadistic and cruel side.She either hate or loves, there's no other way, known to her temperamental personality. For her enemies she is simply ruthless and is not afraid to not play fair, especially if the other side doesn't play fair as well. Yes, even though she thinks of herself as a Gryffindor through-and-through, she can be cunning and sly when she needs to be. But later on she found a way to get herself out of at least few detentions. Frankly speaking, she discovered that she inherited her mother's gift for dramatics and wild improvisations, that performed by someone else would have been annoying or pathetic, but in her case they are charming and often memorable. How possibly Professor Slughorn could give her a detention after she had explained him the buring matter is Sheakspearan language? How?. Sam fairly enjoyed school, she liked most of the teachers and most of the subjects, DADA taking the lead on 'favourite subjects' list with Transfiguration and Potions being close after ( and she included it while choosing her future profession. Becoming an Auror required motivation, knowledge and loads of training and Samantha seemed just perfect for the job, young and enthusistic, with high ideals and will to keep them at all costs she was like a breath of fresh air for the Ministry of Magic. ->Hobbies: [+]painting [+]reading [+]cooking [+]dancing [+]travelling -> Likes: [+]action [+]being an Auror [+]men [+]good food [+]the outdoors [+physical activity [+]animals [+]swimming [+]laughing [+]music -> Dislikes: [+]Voldemort [+]Death Eaters [+]the whole 'purificating of the Wizarding race' idea [+]traitors [+]cowards [+]false people [+]boredom [+]black coffee [+]dark chocolate [+]comments made on her breasts and being felt up against her will (those two things can make her violent) -- -> Boggart: death of the ones she loves (which to her means that she failed to protect them) -> Patronus:a tiger -- At least four sentences for each. -> Friends: Samantha tends to choose her friends spontaniously, though she is not naive and it's not easy to gain her trust. She likes people that enjoy life, have sense of humour and don't take everything dead seriously. However, one trait she values above all others; loyalty. Samantha is a very loyal person and she requiers the same from people that surround her.She would do everything for her friends and she likes to think that they would do exactly the same for her. -> Enemies: Traitors, cowards and people that don't have their own opinion, are definitely the first ones on her 'black list', alongside with fanatics, that blindly believe that the wizarding world should belong to purebloods only. Fanatism, in her opinion, kills all wisdom and common sense, and when your mind sleeps...demons awake. Sum your character up in ten adjectives: [+]beautiful [+]fit [+]passionate [+]loyal [+]self-confident [+]charming [+]vengetful [+]stubborn [+]protective [+]courageous History -> Parents' Names:Apollo Dawlish and Brigitte Dahl -> Father's background: Coming from a pureblooded and quite wealthy family, Mr. Dewlish, after graduating from Hogwarts (alumni Ravenclaw) took up a post at the Ministry, in the Magical Law Enforcement Office, since he simply could not turn down a chance to get into action. He would have become and Auror, but his poor Potion work made it impossible for him. At the age of 24 he fell in love with a muggle actress Brigitte Dahl and married her soon after. -> Mother's background: Brigitte Dahl came to Great Britain with her parents when she was about ten, even as a child she knew that sooner or later she was going to follow her mother's artistic footsteps. At the age of 16 she gave up school and went to London where she got accepted to Guildhall School of Music and Drama, quickly becoming one of its most talented students. In between memorising scripts she found time to date her greatest fan, Apollo Dawlish. Dark, handsome and classy he swept her off her feet. Not to mention, he was a politician(at least she thought so at that moment). Just imagine her suprise when her little toddle started changing teacups into hamsters....Of course, she demanded explanation. And after drinking a few, decent glasses of whisky she accepted the truth. -> Siblings: she's the only child -> Your characters relationship with each family member: For father: She's very much his female, blonde copy and they get on very well, her father supporting her whenever she needs it the most. Of course, since the two of them have a tendency to act upon their feelings they can be found yelling at each-other at the top of their lungs from time to time. However, Mr.Dawlish is very proud of his little treasure, and very much beside himself when she decided upon an Auror career. She's very much a daddy's girl. For mother:Samantha loves her mother with every fibre of her body, even though the two women don't understand one-another the way they would like to. Mrs. Dawlish had passed her love for acting, art, books and theather to her child, and she watched with happy eyes as her sammie starred in all those plays in the primary school. She wanted to believe that her magical skills were going to stay hidden and they will be like this forever.The letter from Hogwarts was like a lightining from a deep blue sky, and even though she tried to feel as happy as Apollo and Sam were, she couldn't help but feel devastated, she couldn't believe that some insane person names Albus Dumbledore was taking her precious daughter from her. -> Pre-Hogwarts: After early years of childhood when she was being constantly cooed over, her parents didn't have to wait long for their little rose to show her throns, as she begun to show her firt signs of being a witch shortly after she was put in the cradle. Mr.dawlish was over the moon with proide and happiness, that magic was so strong in his daughter, just as it has been in his family. Obviously he had some explaining to do and luckily her wife's feelings were strong enough to survive such a...suprise. Not to mention Dawlish's parents, purebloods, were simply ecstatic. Later on she was off to attend a muggle primary school in rainy Scotland (for her mother found it a better place for a child to grow up in, than crowded and exhausting London), her mother seeing to her cultural development, often sitting with Samantha in the evening and showing her all marvels of muggle literature. -> Currently: After graduating from Hogwarts she immediately was accepted as an addept for Auror post. Of course, and Auror is a very elitary profession and it's really hard to become one, but Samantha was determinated. Auror training proved to be extremely challenging, but the harder you get to have something the sweeter is the taste of triumph.
