Fokus's Sport Hour at U1, Floorball. Fokus doesn't have floorballsticks but at least I can share mine if you want to come. This is unisex and amateur Sport Hour, so you don't need to posses any previous experience about Floorball, we will teach you the rules if you don't know them.

Write to Fogue!

The Fokus's magazine/journal. You can write in english. Below is the Fogue's editor of chiefs message translated in english:

Reply this message if you are interested to write something in the Fokus's own publication, which hopefully will be distributed to all new students with the accept letter (the thing which confirms you are accepted to your major in jyu). Topic can spin around for example first study year, presenting university and all sorts of extracurricular activities (OR about your exchange study in Uni. of Jy!). Interviews, humorous data, illustartions, fotographs and even (comic) strips will be accepted. In worst case scenerio the magazine will be assembled from the Fokus's IRC-log.

Those also, who already have said they would be interested to write, could add some short announcement to this thread, so that it would be more easy to keep on track about it.

Every Text will be published, unless some odd problem comes up. The text that you send, don't have to be immediately be ready to be published and it would be good to get some starting from the feature in advance to ease the make-up. The final and fixed text will be placed to replace the first sent text.

Exchange students experiences are also very needed! If you are holding blog during your exchange, do summary based to that. You can use also more time to write your feature!

We need sponsor money too and we need help in form of suggestions about from which organisations to ask possible advertisers.

Olutwasting at Blaze 16.4.

Barparty at Blaze at Yliopistonkatu Wednesday 16.4. 2200 of Clock (10pm) forth. Puolue's (Pol. Science students organisation, means political party) politologies are also with Fokus organising the event and take part also in "playful" competions/games (hopefully no-one will desrtroy ones ligaments this time...) with Fokus. Participation is very hoped - entrance 2 euros and action and music is tougher in Blaze than normal. The last chance to warm up First of Mays (Students and labor festivities day) competingcondition!

Fokus Vappu

30.4. 14:00 (2pm) in Lillukka, Kortepohja, Taitoniekantie 9, Fokus offers drinking and snacks. Welcome! From Lillukka we will be going to Kirkkopuisto at 18:00 to watch Minna Canth statue to get a hat in its head. After that people can go back to Lillukka, it is reserved for Fokus for the whole day, evening and night.

1.5. around mid-day 12 am. Fokus is on the Harju (the ridge). You will find Fokus-members under Fokus -flag. Flag has that Fokus Fox-logo and text "Fokus". Welcome!

Vappu (May Day) is the years biggest festivity for students. So don't miss this one!
