Somewhere beyond happiness, I need to calculate what creates my own madness

Michael had planned for tonight to be special, he was taking someone special out to dinner. A girl he met back at the Institute while he was locked up, her name was Noriko Ashida. She was very special indeed, and she would be very useful in the war to come. Not to mention, she would assist him well against his brother. The Psychopath felt no empathy, as a child he always wished for such a feeling, he always wished for his parents to love him but gave up on such a petty feeling years ago. Although tonight, he had asked a very expensive restaurant to prepare for his and Noriko's arrival. Only the most expensive wine and dinner. He had already rented out a expensive tuxedo. The wealthy criminal drove his car towards the mansion, the money that was used to buy his car, well lets just say it wasn't attained through a sociably acceptable job.

The mutant finally reached the gates of the mansion, his car waited outside, the gates were locked and it probably wasn't smart to head inside anyways. He looked down at his watch, it read 7:55PM. He was right on time, now he just had to wait for his date, well five minutes early. He could see some of the lights in the mansion on from outside, tonight wasn't about business, it was about pleasure and he wouldn't allow the X-Men inside to ruin it. Despite the things he's done, he didn't quite see himself as evil, but rather as having a different point of view. And after tonight, when he was done with the girl, she would have another point of view as well. He looked down at his watch again, 7:58PM. Only a two more minutes and she should be out of that awful place. He rested his head back on the seat, his thoughts ran from one thing to another. The thought of his brother having control of the company, angered him greatly. Such a pathetic being, having more control then him? It was humiliating, he would not tolerate it and soon enough, he would watch his little brother suffer like he did for so many years. His family thought they could just simply, ignore him after his father disinheritted him? He would not stand for it, soon they would all suffer.

And I'm addicted to your punishment, you're the master, and I'm waiting for disaster.

Noriko had been a little upset after the attack on the mansion when she had learned that Michael had escaped with them and an Exile leader put in his cell instead. Well, not that anyone actually told her. Noriko had ventured down into the sub basement herself to look for him and found the purple girl instead who Noriko later found out had been pretending to be a student at the school. She was glad Michael was out, but at the same time she wanted him back here so she could ask him more questions. He had caused her to seriously doubt her purpose here and the X-Men in general. She was special, she was powerful, Michael seemed to see that but they didn't. The only problem was that the woman was having a hard time pushing herself to do anything about it.

When her phone had gone off, Noriko had been stunned to hear from the man in question. Not only was there the shock of how he even got her number, but the shock that he would bother contacting her at all. Had he been serious about taking her from here andd wanting her to travel with him, or be a buisiness parter, or whatever it was he had suggested? Maybe. All that Noriko knew was that he had invited her to dinner at a place she had never even heard of. It sounded fancy though and Noriko really didn't know how to do 'fancy and sophisticated'. She was random and flamboyant, not quiet and demure like society deemed was proper.

One of the girls had offered her a black dress but Noriko wanted something with color! Rummaging through her things (and a few of Ros') Noriko came up with a rather colorful outfit featuring the color blue in all of its glory. Slipping on her jewelry and adjusting the feathers in her hair so they peeked out just right, Noriko checked her phone--7:58 pm. Nerves rose in her stomach as she sped down the stairs and out the front door. Stopping a several feet before the gate, Noriko spotted the expensive looking car waiting for her. What the heck did this guy do for a living? She couldn't entirely imagine the scruffy man in the jail cell driving this car.

Checking herself, she slipped through the gate and opened the passenger side door. Taking a seat, she looked over to Michael, fighting a blush rising in her face at the sight of him cleaned up and dressed up. "Hello again. You're looking in better shape."

Somewhere beyond happiness, I need to calculate what creates my own madness

The man in the tux zoned out, his thoughts wandering, he couldn't get the memories of his murders out of his head. The rush was the greatest feeling about killing someone, and he never quite understood why people got so...emotional about it, it wasn't like death was new to the world. Without predators, the prey would become the monsters and kill themselves in the end. He wasn't a monster, just a necessary evil. Without him, well lets just say things would get boring. The Psychopath read through his texts, no one had messaged him, although that wasn't much of a surprise, he only phoned a few people since getting back into town. And the other contacts, well weren't so friendly to begin with, they were only for business.

The Psychopath imagined himself in his rightful place, the owner of Silvermaine Industries. The Murderer glanced over to the passenger seat when his date got into the vehicle. She looked stunning, and her beauty wasn't fake like the whore that manipulated him with her powers, resulting in him losing his money. Or like Viola, no this girl was real. And her power, he felt her power like it was his own. She was similar to him, well not exactly, but power-wise she was. The ability to absorb energy, she was powerful and gorgeous. She would be his, and his twisted fantasy will come to life. They would...live happily ever after. The Mutant took her hand and kissed it, "You look beautiful." he smiled. Michael pulled out a small jewelry gift box, inside was his gift to her. He put it out infront of him and opened it, inside was a very expensive sapphire necklace. "Soon as I seen it, it made me think of you." he smiled. The Silvermaine, took it out of the box and questioned her, "May I?" he offered to put it around her neck.

And I'm addicted to your punishment, you're the master, and I'm waiting for disaster.

DATE NIGHT!
"Um, thank you." Noriko managed to get out. Honestly she wasn't used to being treated like this. She lived with a bunch of teenagers and didn't find much manners and class among the male population. She had never minded of course, Noirko was childish at best when it came to being social, but there was something about being treated like she was special that drew her to this man. At the sight of the necklace in his hands, her eyes widened slightly. She didn't own anything this expensive looking. It was so pretty (and blue!) that she couldn't help the smile on her face. Nodding, she took off the necklace she had been wearing and stored it in her purse before holding back her hair for him to put the necklace on her.

Michael took the necklace out of the box and put it around her neck, the blue gem shined in the light of the car. All his life, he had spent mostly in solitude, including his childhood. There was only a few moments, although perhaps with her it would be different? Although doubtful there would actual be any real feelings coming from him. He imagined himself, with her by his side after he took back his company. After putting it on her, he moved his hands away, "There you go....Do you like it? It was very expensive I will have you know." he chuckled. He started up the car and started to pull out onto the street. "Now lets be off, I already had the restaurant set us up a table." he told her as the car started to drive away from the mansion.

Biting her lip slightly as the necklace was draped around her throat, Noriko looked back to him and sat properly in her seat. "It's very pretty." She really couldn't care less how much the thing cost, the necklace she had been wearing had cost her two bucks at a thrift store she had gone to with Jubilee. Noriko quite liked shiny and eye catching jewelry though and this fit the bill. Already she was hearing Jubilee bouncing around the room when she got back about how Nori had a 'sugar daddy'. "Great. Where are we going?" She asked, putting on her seatbelt and trying not to fidget too much. She never had done well in cars. Too much sitting and not enough liberty to move where she pleased.

Somewhere beyond happiness, I need to calculate what creates my own madness

The man in the white tux drove down the street, lights from cars flashing by and the street lights shining down on them. He felt in control. And well, tonight was going to be a break from the other Exiles. Especially some of the more irritating ones, like Viola. But after tonight, with Noriko by his side, his goals will be accomplished. With his new little cheerful assistant, he'll watch the X-Men burn, watch Silvermaine Industries become his and watch his brother die. The car stopped at a redlight, and Michael answered the asian girls question. "Le Bernardin. You do like seafood right? Ever since I was a boy, seafood has been my favourite. Otherwise we can go to another restaurant, anywhere you choose." he told her. Although honestly, fish to him sounded like the best option, who didn't like fish? He planned on ordering some of the restaurants finest sushi, that's if his date wanted to go to Le Bernadin. Otherwise, any other restaurant will do.

Back before he was disherited, his family always went to a restaurant in Manhattan, it wasn't fancy or expensive but the food was fantastic. They would go there every tuesday, that's back when he got along with his little brother though, so many years ago. Ever since he hadn't been back since, but he drove by it quite often, remembering those years. His Father loved fish, but his Mother despised it, she would rather die then eat it. Finally, the car pulled into the driveway of his dates choice. Tonight he would be losing quite a bit of his cash, this restaurant wasn't very cheap, not at all. The man stepped out of the car and walked to his dates side, and opened the door for her. "Here we are." he held his hand out for her to take. Tonight was going to be very special.

And I'm addicted to your punishment, you're the master, and I'm waiting for disaster.

DATE NIGHT!
Noriko seemed to wait awhile before Michael answered her. Part of her was a little nervous by the fact he wasn't saying where they were going (wan't that how kidnappings went?) but she also was rationalizing to herself that he was just focused on driving the purring beast that they were in. It was a safe bet to say that Noriko liked cars. Nice, well kept cars that is. Drive up to her with a buick and she'd just shrug, but a nice beautiful car like the lambourghini that they were in and she was in heaven. She didn't know much about the man at her side, but she supposed if she was getting kidnapped, this was the car to be in while it happened. They stopped at the red light and he answered her, though his answer made her grin broadly. "I'm from Japan, of course I like seafood." She had eaten seafood at least once a day back home, she loved the stuff and was sad she didn't get it as much here. He opened the door for her and she took his hand to get out. Looping her arm in his, she followed him into the restaurant.

The gentleman took the lady's arm and started to approach the restaurants front doors. The smell of fish filled the air as they approached, delightful fish! He wasn't quite sure what to order, but the sushi did sound good. When he heard what he said, he laughed a bit, "Unfortunely, I was born here in New York. Nothing too special." he told his date. New York really wasn't very special, it was crowded, loud at times, busy and quite boring. His victims were at times especially hard to get alone to have his fun with them. Although tonight wasn't about his victims, it was about Noriko and his superficial charm. After getting into the the restaurant, he could smell the fish perfectly. A waiter approached the couple, "Right this way sir, we have your seats right over here." he led the couple towards the best table available, closest to the window. Michael pulled Noriko's seat out so she could sit down, and then sat down in his own seat. The waiter gave them their menu's and left to let them choose. Michael flipped through the menu, while speaking to Noriko "So tell me about yourself, what part of Japan are you from?"

Walking towards the restaurant, Noriko shrugged her shoulders slightly. "New York's not so bad I suppose, It's like most big cities in America." She was sure she had had a much different experience with New York City than Michael had growing up. As far as she was aware and assuming by his car, his clothes, the necklace around her throat, and the restaurant they were currently walking into he hadn't really wanted for much in his childhood. In all fairness, Noriko hadn't either in Japan. Her father was very successful and they had more than enough money to live. It wasn't until she had come to New York at such a young age that she really experienced the pain of not having anything. Sitting when her chair was pulled out for her, Noriko watched Michael as he seated himself and turned his attention back to her. "I'm from Tokyo actually. I came to New York when I was a teenager." She failed to mention that transistion was without her family or their knowledge and that she had been forced to live on the streets until the X-Men found her. This man hardly needed to know all of her secrets and Noriko was fine keeping all of the skeletons in her tightly locked closet.

Somewhere beyond happiness, I need to calculate what creates my own madness

The man in the tux always wondered what Japan was like, but he never decided to get on a plane and go there. Maybe one day he would finally have the chance. Until then, he was stuck in the States until he had control of the company. Cain searched through the menu, trying to find something to eat, although besides Sushi, he wasn't quite sure. "Why did you choose New York if I may ask? In my opinion, it's terrible, and well, filthy." he questioned her out of curiousity. Just then the waiter came to the table again to take their orders, "Hello, may I take your order this evening?" he questioned the couple. Michael replied to him, "I'm not quite sure what to get besides Sushi, so just surprise me. And would you bring us some drinks? Anything the lady wishes." he told the waiter, who nodded and then turned his attention to Noriko. "And you miss?" Michael waited for Noriko to give her order, but his thoughts wandered. The only time anyone loved him was when he was a child, perhaps he would experience true love with Noriko? Doubtful, but a man can dream. After she gave her order, the waiter took the menus and left give the orders to the chef.

Noriko briefly glanced at the menu in front of her before noticing that Michael very much seemed to be in charge of the evening. Which was fine with her in the long run. She was rather indecisive when it came to everything so it was for the best, though her sense of independence was a little sore from not being given the option. "You know, I don't actually remember. I think it was because my dad came to New York a lot for buisness so I had heard about the city several times." Her father had actually been pretty successful in his company and though she had never gone with him she had heard about the city enough, seen pictures. For some reason her childish mind had thought she could make it on her own here. Well, that had been wrong. As the waiter turned to her she wasn't sure what to say. "Um, some hot sake would be nice." She managed to say with confidence. Thankfully the waiter didn't seem to think checking her ID or Michael's was necessary for the alcohol which was probably for the best. She'd turn twenty one soon enough, what did a few weeks matter?

Michael sat and listened, this girl seemed so fascinating, well her powers did. He could sense the electricity running through her body, all that pent up energy waiting to be released. She reminded him of himself when he was younger, the beginning of his serial killing spree. The beginning of his new life, and would soon be the beginning of her new life as well. The world was a playground for the Psychopath, and his soon-to-be new companion. She was beautiful, amusing and powerful, she'd work the perfect companion, as well as possibly a lover. Her exciting personality might even brighten up his own? Bah, doubtful. She would be under his control, although maybe she would be much more to him? One would have to wait and see. The psychopathic gentleman, replied to her, "My Father owned a very wealthy company, although he was very selfish and despised me. All because of one person, he disinherited me.

And I'm addicted to your punishment, you're the master, and I'm waiting for disaster.

FOR MICHAEL
DATE NIGHT!
Noriko was a little shocked to hear that Michael's father had disinherited him. Mostly because she knew nothing about the company or his family, or really Michael for that matter, but she couldn't really imagine having that happen. Sure, Noriko had freaked out and expected her family to be intolerant of her mutation but she didn't know that for sure. She had just run away in anticipation for the blow. For all she knew they might still be hoping she would come back after all these years. "That sucks." She replied bluntly, taking a sip of her water. She really wasn't the most eloquent of persons when it came to words.

The waiter came back to their table with the sake and Noriko poured them both a glass before taking up her own and sipping it. She was quite pleased at the quality of it, a lot of Japanese restaurants she had been to in New York had the cheap stuff but this was really good. "So what do you do? For work that is." She asked, growing ever more and more curious about Michael. Honestly, she was a little more curious why he was interested in her, interested enough to buy her the necklace and take her out to a fancy restaurant like this. She figured that would just be an odd thing to ask though, so fulfilling her desire to know more about him took priority.

Somewhere beyond happiness, I need to calculate what creates my own madness

Michael never really picked his life, well parts of it he did. The feeling for power and control, which led to him being homicidal, he didn't pick. But deciding to fulfill those urges, he did choose. But being disheritted was never his choice, that was taken by his Ex Alexandra. That bitch took it all from him, and if she was still alive, he would have gave her a more painful death then he already did. But that was the only time he ever felt anything that even resembled love or empathy except for when he was younger and his mother was alive. Now all he care about was, fulfilling the craving for power. But what if there was more? What if there was another way to live? Such a petty thought, and unlikely but one must dream, right? The white-suited man took a drink and continued thinking.

The murderer imagined himself, living not the way he has, it was all but a fantasy though. When he was twenty-five years old, on his birthday he decapitated a woman, after brutally torturing her, it felt good and made him feel alive. But the feeling was brief, and he still needed to satisfy the desire to feel something. Maybe if life was different, he would have had a family, settled down and never harmed a soul. Life was strange, beautiful and cruel and twisted. Not that Michael was a depressed loser, it's just, deep down inside, he desired something else besides the lonely life he had. And that's why he did what he did, because death and survival was the only thing he was ever taught. The gentleman replied to his lady's question after taking another sip of his wine, "Well, I'm a mechanic."

And I'm addicted to your punishment, you're the master, and I'm waiting for disaster.

FOR MICHAEL
DATE NIGHT!
Noriko was incredibly interested and curious about Michael. He obviously wasn't the type of guy she'd take home to her dad for approval to see, but he was just so fascinating to her. She'd like to say it had nothing to do with how he looked, but that would be untrue. He was extremely charming and rather handsome now that he was cleaned up. She was really enjoying this dinner tonight. She wanted to know why he had been disinherited though. Perhaps at some point, if there was another time they saw each other, she'd find out. If not, well, she'd just make up a story to satisfy.

A big smile covered her face as he told her what he did for a living. "A mechanic? Cool! I love cars. I have a bit of an obsession with them actually." A giggle came out of her mouth before she sipped down another glass of sake. Fast cars, fancy cars, motorcycles, she loved anything that had leather seats and purred when she drove. Though she wasn't sure what to say about herself. She was...what? Unemployed? She wasn't a student and wasn't an X-Men. Thankfully the waiter came back at that moment with their food. "This all looks fantastic."
