Sword!, Brandnew and far from finished.

Oooookaaaay I wanna make a new sword now that my forge works again...
I'd like it to be an RP colaboration....

So here goes.
Choose between all these things and tell me what you'd like the "ultimate" sword to be.


Blade made from: (I Have enough of these materials to make a BIG sword)
Steel (can be turned into anything with some other mats)
Stainless steel (hard to work with and holds an edge well)
Aluminum (not very good for blades)
High carbon steel (extremely hard but holdsa an edge like a [bleep] )
Toolsteel (even harder)
Titanium (extremely hard to work with and keep from cracking while forging)
Patterned (damascus) steel with : Tin, copper, aluminum, titanium, whatever else I can scrounge for
Brass
Bronze.

Guard can be made from : Guard = the cross section ^-^
Brass
Bronze
Alumunum
Steel
iron
copper
silver (sterling not pure. sterling is 970/1000 silver and 30 another material usually copper)
Extremely small amount of gold. (I only have 10 grams enough for a big engraving if I don't mess up.)
Stainless steel.

Handles can be made from:
Almost any wood (i'm good friends with a woodcarver )
Leather almost any colour.
Plastic (don't even think about it...)
Wrapped wire around wood (making it useless for fighting...)

The pommel can be made from: (pommel = thingy at end of handle)
All materials for handle.
A few gems. (i have a 1 karat low quality diamon that's sort of dirty looking, A shitload of tiny 1/4 karat diamonds that are uncut so they look like little squarish thingys... A small erfectly round emerald that's 3mm in diameter. 2 small pearshaped low quality rubies. Ludicrous amounts of garnet. A large (1 inch) crystal orb. Same size orb of pink quartz and a red orb of garnet also same size. huge amount of fake gems in all shapes and colours. And a ton of tigers eye.)

So here's some limitations:

I can only forge blades up to 5 feet long at the moment.
I can to wax casting for the handles (carve something in wax and have someone turn it into metal.) Can only be done in: Brass, Bronze, Copper, Iron, steel and aluminum.
I can set gems but not on the edge of the blade. I can set it in the middle line of the blade and on the handle and pommel and guard.

For the sheath I can make:
Molded leather any colour.
Metal covers for sheath.
Full metal sheath.
Gems on sheath.
Belt for sheath in:
Chainmaille any metal.
Thick/thin leather all colours.



Soooooo that was it! I think....

So start throwing idea/sketches/whatever at me and we'll come up with an uber sword. ^-^

Well..i dont want something too heavy ^^' and whats guard? I want a leather handle! OooOOoo leathery. Or maybe...wrapped wire around wood...I want a tigers eye on the pommel..and the rest I dont know.
