Smiling slightly, she ran her fingers through her hair slowly. He was an interesting man indeed. The sound of the wind rustling its way though the trees had a calming effect on her, even though she would soon face a daunting quest. Relaxing despite the situation, she chewed her bottom lip thoughtfully as she pondered his words. Chewing her lip had become an unconscious habit when she was thinking or worried. Opening her eyes fully, they were the only hue of blue in the dark land. Glancing up at the dark clouds, she wondered briefly how anyone could live here, without sun, and not be depressed all the time. Looking back at him, she laughed softly.
As a matter of fact I would believe it. You’re too wise to have been around for any lesser time than that.
Sending him a warm smile, she let her long fingers play over the decorated hilt of her sword. Indeed he was wise. She had never seen him make a rash decision and it was true no matter what the era that only the strong survived. The fact that he had seen so much was a bit daunting, but as she looked over at him all she saw was Vaden, not the waves of time or some over whelming force. It must have been hard to live so long.. Seeing people die as the years went on and on and still living on generation after generation.

Smiling slightly, she leaned back. The thought should have been daunting but it wasn't. He didn't act like he was billions of years old, and he certainly didn't look like it. This thought made her smile slightly as she looked over at him. It was weird how things turned out in life or lives, depending on how you looked at it. Stretching slightly, she ran her fingers over the emblem the hilt of her sword. The silver half moon was surrounded by elven inscriptions that were meaningful to her. Looking up at him, she smiled..
So I guess I'm old in Hume standards and extremely young by yours.
Tilting her head up so she could look at him, she felt a warm feeling start in around her heart. By now she knew the sensation well being as she had felt it with both Zine and Lupin before. It was compassion, warmth, trust, and comfort that swelled around her heart. The feelings she would die to protect. It was friendship and more.. That deep feeling of trust for someone. Feeling friendly, she rested her head on his shoulder as something changed in her eyes as well.
I'm really glad I met you Vaden..

Vaden's eyes drooped shut for a moment before reopening them. His mind sensed that something was out of place in their surroundings. As he put on his armor, he gave a stern look over Silvara's shoulder before laying a hand on it. All of a sudden, there was a brief glint in his eye signifying the change in their environment. "Down, now!"
With one hand he'd pushed Silvara down to the ground, the other drew his Mor'Kalina into a blockade over her head. Myore's Kalina Gao clashed with Vaden's gunblade. "You're lucky it was I who just leapt out, could've had worse you know," Myore growled before Vaden pushed his weapon up, stepping over Silvara closer to his former Paladin teacher. "Maybe, maybe not. Doesn't matter to me, you know that," Vaden said through gritted teeth.
Vaden bent his knees and pushed back up to throw Myore off-guard, leaving him open to a kick into his chest. When Myore was down, Vaden kneeled down and wrapped an arm around Silvara to be ready to escape. That was, until Breana stepped out from the shadows, looking at Vaden and Silvara with ice-cold eyes.
"Well well, isn't this a pleasant package? Now which half to rip open first, hm Vaden darling?"

She had gone down and watched the fight just as Vaden had ordered. He went from calm to fierce in just a second and she was impressed to say the least. His muscles bunched as he faced down his former teacher. She had a flash of time to wonder where Breana was before she heard the voice. Looking up her blue eyes turned to ice, but flames licked behind the shimmering wall. She stood slowly, dislodging herself from Vaden but staying by his side. There was a time for running and a time for fighting, just as there was a time for living and a time for dieing. Her cloak whipped around her in the bitterly cold wind. She was a daunting picture just then, like a fierce statue. Long golden tendrils of her hair whipped around her angelically fierce face as she stood still as stone. Then, slowly, a smile bloomed on her face. It was the kind of smile that didn't reach her ice-forged eyes, cold, calculating, a challenge. She had never been one to back down and she wasn't about to now. The only regret if she died was not being able to say good-bye to Lupin and Zine.
It’s a pretty strong package, but your welcome to try.
As the wind whipped her cloak back, the symbol of Paladin shown on her chest. The beautiful but strong pendent hung from a chain around her neck. It was her light and inspiration in dark times and she felt it warm against her skin.

"Silence, you little girl," Breana shot, "Small talk from a small-time fighter. Now Vaden, care to choose who I'm to gut open first?"
Vaden gave her a cold stare as Myore rose to his feet and stood at ready. He could take on these two, he had to for Silvara's own life. He clenched his fingers tighter around his Mor'Kalina Vayn, his own instinct and building rage took the best of him. Without another moment's hesitation, Vaden charged at Breana and swung from the side.
Breana twirled her double-bladed scythe and caught his attack. Vaden spun back around to try and come from the other side but his footing was easily taken out from under him. When his back had hit the ground, he swept his leg into Breana's to bring her down and kicked her away with both feet. Myore jumped into the frenzy and slammed his keyblade into Vaden's guard. Both their arms tensed as they attempted to overtake the other in strength. Then, Myore was casted away with a cut across his shins. With a small sigh of relief, he was knocked down again as he tried to stand up and he saw that curved blade coming down on him. Maybe this was to be his last.

The look on Breana's face as she was pushed back from the death of her heart was stunned. She gave the woman a cold glare, spinning her Mori Crescent in her hands. Her feet were in the position to launch in any given direction with or without the aid of her surrounding environment. "The concept of fairness doesn't exist in this case, young one. Vaden's battle and grudge is with us as in Myore and I. He knows what to expect, being our former student and taught by us, don't you darling? 'Do anything and everything for that is what life will do,' I believe were the words I made him repeat," she said.
Vaden shot up to his feet as he looked between Breana and Silvara. Myore was circling him with his black eyes focused. Vaden gritted his teeth, speaking out to Breana. "Whatever happened to taking my Seal? Or has that agenda to something more petty, more personal Breana?"
"Petty? You're calling this petty, Vaden? You have no heart, dear, that's why you can't ever feel any sort of love or attachment. So come back whenever you finally grow one... Better yet, let's see if you've grown one by now, shall we?"
Breana gripped her scythe with one hand and extended it to Silvara. The end-blade wrapped around Silvara's sword as Breana pulled herself to her now-declared competition while making Silvara stumble forward. Breana delivered a knee into Silvara's gut and pushed her away as she landed. Meanwhile, Vaden tried to make for Breana before Myore leapt out in front of him. Vaden slashed from multiple angles with his teacher blocking each and every one of them. They were engaged in the dance of adrenaline and death now.
