Vaden nodded to her. "Sorry about this, but it's just to reduce the noise," he told Silvara as he sheathed his gunblade and picked her up in his arms. He turned around slowly and began to step his way through the forest bordering the Airship Point and the territory of Ghenna.
"Remind me that when all this is over, I'm going to have to treat you to something once those two are finally wiped off the face of Gaea," Vaden said while they moved through the forest. He avoided anything that he knew would cause the loudest and lengthiest of snapping sounds. There was a feeling of some bond within Vaden that he had towards Silvara, right there in his arms. ________________________________________________________________________________________
Breana had gotten up, burned from head to toe, as did Myore. "Argh! You couldn't keep him busy, imbecile?! I could've had his little lover's head on my scythe by now!" she shrieked, followed by a yelp of pain. Myore clutched at his face, feeling the crisped scar that Vaden had left across his face... all this time. Now Myore absolutely wanted his student's head on a platter.
"Give me a damn break, the man cut my face!"
Several people gathered around, some of them walking closer to try and offer aid. Myore and Breana shook them off and went to the closest inn to rest up and tend to their wounds.

He let out a small chuckle and set Silvara down on her feet. Then he turned, starting to take off his armor helm, all the way down and cloak-cape until he was in his light-fighting outfit. There was a rock jutting out from the ground by almost a foot. Looking over at Silvara, he gestured for her to take a seat there while he sat on the bare grass next to the rock. "Hm, I'm getting too old for fighting all these anti-life forces," he joked to himself outloud, "Hopefully Zine and Lupin are getting along alright. I have a feeling those two are tensious with one another. Dark Elf and a regular Elf... not exactly a classic combination."
Vaden let out a huff as he lied down on the ground, looking up at the moonlit sky, surrounded by a sea of stars. The trees rustled their own tune, swishing with the wind as it flowed through their leaves. Giving Silvara a warm smile, he sighed as he contemplated his own future.

"Oh, it wasn't all that hard. Your eyes aren't the ones of a future Dark Knight. They're too... innocent, for lack of a better word," he said, "It's also how you react to dire situations like the upcoming wars or my former teachers on you."
He slipped his arm from around her waist and looked around for something to start a fire on. Ghenna was mainly swampland, thus the moisture spanned across almost the whole area save the Barren Wasteland. The ground was just as murky as the sky, if not moreso. Vaden sighed a bit and looked at the night sky. It was a wonder how anybody could inhabit such a dark place as this. The sun and moon, had they been totally blocked by the clouds of black and gray, wouldn't be visible. Everyone or so Vaden thought needed some light in there life with the darkness. It was an impeccable balance that could never be thrown off in any manifestation, be it battles or physical light and dark.
"I myself took on the path of both a Dark Knight and Paladin, but I never followed through fully with the Paladin side of my skills," he blurted, deciding to share his own experiences, "All of my instructors, including those two demented ones after us, concluded that I was more of an aggressor but a calculating one. That was the vital part of me that broke their typical view of Dark Knights. Always willing to take a risk but not without knowing or speculating the reprecussions of them. As for the Paladin me, I never settled for a religious institution just the name of Gaea and whatever shread of peace there was. Neither reserved or outblown... that's what I was always told and realized."
Vaden rested against the same tree as Silvara, arms crossed and one leg settled on the bark. Looking over at Silvara, he had a feeling there was still some distance between him and her that he'd never cover unless he gained more of her trust and heart presuming that he managed to live on.
