I'm a rocker. Mainly it's classic stuff like Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Jimi Hendrix, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pink Floyd, The Doors. Though I listen a bit to some heavy metal (Metallica), some grudge(Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden), and some punk. And when I say punk, I mean classic punk like The Clash, not this whiney emo stuff that you hear on all the Top 40 stations. In fact, I've even written a haiku to express how much I dislike the whininess of emos:

I like Gogol Bordello (Ukrainian Traditional Punk), Flogging Molly (Irish Traditional Punk), The John D'arcy Band (Mixed Genre) and Pocket Billiards (Ska Punk or Punk Ska).
