Forum Guidelines
Welcome to the Homestar Runner Fanstuff Wiki Forum!
In order to keep this place running smoothly, we have
to lay down these strict rules:

1: All of the sysops of the Fanstuff Wiki (excluding
bureaucrats and reservists) are administrators here.
Be sure to obey any commands they give.

2: This is a kid-friendly forum.

Keep all religious, sexual or racial discussions to a
minimum and in a civilized manner.

No profanity is allowed; nothing worse than what is featured
on the H*R website such as "crap" or "friggin".

3: Do not spam.

Post all new threads in the appropriate forums. They are for
the most part self-explanatory. Make sure all threads and
posts you make have meaning, with the possible exception
for those in Fun Questions, Polls & Games.

Try to not re-ask questions that have already been
answered, or make a thread for something which already
has one.

No self-advertisements outside of the "Shameless Plug-ins"
thread pinned in the Off-Topic forum.

Try to not double post (post twice without any replies in
between) within a day of your previous post. Use the edit
function if you must add more to your post.

3.1: Take note of General Order 26 when in the
Fun and Games forum. Failing to obey will result in post or
thread deletion.

4: Don't "resurrect" topics without a good reason.
Don't reply to topics which haven't had any activity for 2
months or more unless you have something new to add to
it, typically when the topic's subject itself has updated.

This rule doesn't apply to topics about single Homestar
Runner cartoons or active fanstuff, but don't go
overboard. Do not resurrect threads for inactive fanstuff.

5: Use the same username here as it is on the
wiki (or something very similar) so that we know it's you.
Don't use a name on the forum if somebody else uses that
name on the wiki.

6: Be friendly and use common sense.

Be nice to your fellow members. Try to keep heated
arguments to a minimum and avoid getting too angry. A
topic may be locked if fighting on it gets out of hand. You
may also be temporarily blocked if you persist.

Don't put down other people's fanstuff without reason.
Constructive criticism is okay, but simply saying something
such as "This sucks, throw it away." isn't allowed. If you
must be negative, provide a reason. Don't be overly
protective of your fanstuff if you get constructive criticism.

7: No gimmick accounts.

They do nothing but be mildly annoying so please refrain
from doing it. The sysops can see your IP so you aren't
fooling anyone.

THE ONLY RULE:

don't bunnies

These rules are subject to change at any time.
