OLD Great Beaverhead Forest
The largest of the national forests in Montana, it covers 3.35 million acres and is broken apart into pockets of woods by the sporadic mountain ranges. All sorts of things make the forest and mountains their home. Especially Wrygles!

OLD Old Bannack
An old ghost town that survived the bombings of the Great war. The town is controlled by the Ghost Rider Cowboys and their leader, the mayor. They do a good job of keeping the peace, even if their punishments are strict. The biggest draw to the area is the huge Brahmin industry that is located here. Energy weapons are common and everyone lives by a pioneer lifestyle. Simplistic and hopefully peaceful.

OLD Great Beaverhead River
Once under many different names, the Great Beaverhead River simply became the collective name for all the rivers in Beaverhead County. It starts at the border between Beaverhead and Madison and splits into three different branches: Northern Beaverhead River, Central Beaverhead River and Western Beaverhead River. Rivers are the fastest and safest way to travel through the county.

OLD Bloody Dick Mountains
These mountains were made famous by the post built here in 2120 on its highest peak, Bloody Dick peak, which stands at an impressive 9822ft elevation. This range of mountains is also a popular nesting spot for the native Wrygles. Of the hundred of ranges within Region 3, this range is the only one with a common, well-known name. All the surrounding mountain ranges fall under this collective name.

OLD Mines
These are the mines that were discovered by the original settlers from Vault 72. Since their discovery they have been expanded upon into a vast underground network. The mines are free to use so long as you don't explode holes haphazardly. After alcohol, coal is the next big import in Moonshine.

OLD Moonshine
Founded by the citizen's of Vault 72, who re-opened all the old distilleries and discovered the old mines. Free from the influence of either Beaverhead or Madison, the citizens of Moonshine are neutral in the region's grudge war. The hotspot of technology and culture, Moonshine was the city that first brought life to Region 3. The buildings are half in ruin and half patched up with large sheets of scrap metal. Waste and pollution are major concerns in the poorer districts of the city. Most distilleries are located around the door to Vault 72 and is far nicer compared to the rest of the city. Most deals are done by trading alcohol. Watch yourself here, as it's just you and the gun on your hip!

OLD Spring Meadows
The capital city of Madison County. The city appears dingy at first but once one walks around for a bit they can see that great pains have been taken to make the city look nice. Including keeping buildings repaired and by planting flowers and trees throughout the city. There are parks and commons where people can gather and places where farmers can go and sell their crops. At the center of the city is the capitol building where all major county decisions are made.

OLD Big Sky Mountains
Like with the Bloody Dick mountains, over time as other names were lost and new people came into the region, these mountain ranges in the south end of Madison had fallen under a collective name. These mountains, especially around the fort, are covered with snow most of the year.

OLD Lowlands
As the name suggests, the Lowlands are the lowest and semi-flattest area of Region 3. Many hills and low rises mark the terrain. The Lowlands start at Spring Meadows lake then fans out, following the rivers until it reaches the Great Beaverhead River where the land grows mountainous once again. The soil is fertile and good for farming plants like wheat, potatoes and barley.

OLD Madison River
Madison wanted nothing called "Beaverhead" in their fair county so once the Great Beaverhead River crosses into their territory it because the Madison River. Like the Great Beaverhead River, the Madison River has many branches though, no one in Madison felt like differentiating them and stuck with one name. The Madison River is the fastest way to get around, not to mention essential to the many farmers that live in the lowlands.
