The inn was full of life. Shifters of all kinds where joined for a drink this lovely night and sang songs. In the corner of the inn sat Cilam, with a glass of water in his right hand and a corn bread in his left. He took a little bite of the bread and swallowed it with some water. He looked over the inn, the people laughed and danced. He laughed a few time when some of the people spilled a beer or tripped.

The night was quiet, well besides the sound coming from the Inn that is. Cilam relaxed at the corner table at the inn and drank some of his water. He had been traveling with Miella since two days ago, then they had to split up because she had some work to do, so he had decided to wait for her at the inn. But who knew that his night would all of a sudden become so interesting!

Balthazar sat alone at a table not far from Cilam's, although, in his perfectly sane state, Balthazar did not recognize Cilam. He was withdrawn from most of the rest of the pub, and contemplative. He mostly drowned out the soothing music humming in the background, and kept to the beer sitting in front of him.

Beer was all he ever drank, besides water and occasionally coffee, that is. He supposed this was somewhat reflective of his personality. His personality, not it's personality. He was generally predictable, but it was mainly because he found predictability easy. When handed a shotgun and a target, he was probably the most unpredictable bastard around, but sitting in a pub, or wandering the streets, he stayed a routine. He supposed having a daily routine could give enemies an easy murder target, but that's what pistols were for. That's also what mutant shapeshifters were for.

Lately Balthazar had been afraid of transforming, because it seemed the more he took on his dire wolf form, the sooner he seemed to begin his decent into temporary lunacy.

Suddenly one man caught his eye. He didn't really know why, but he seemed familiar. For some reason, the name "Cilam" stuck in his head when he watched this person. He decided to walk over to him.

"Who are you..?" He said, probably seeming a little crazy to 'Cilam'. Cilam didn't know the half of it.

"Who are you..?" Cilam looked up as he heard the familiar voice. "Why if it ain't Balthazar, It's Cilam, Remember?" Cilam replied quickly and offered him a seat. Cilam had learned quite a few things about him the last time they met, most of it was very interesting. "I didn't expect to see you here, work related?" Cilam asked, trying to get his mind of their last meeting. A heavy atmosphere fell over the two, a very awkward time too meet, since last time they had met Cilam had called him crazy, but fortunately he didn't hear him when he said that.

"Cilam? I know that name, but have no memory of you..." Balthazar said, slightly confused. For some reason, he felt an unusual aggression brewing within him. He kept his right hand on his left hip uneasily, his hand only inches away from his revolver, already loaded up with golden bullets, only three seconds away from being fired into someone's skull.

"Regardless, if my being here were work related why would it concern you? Is it unusual for a person to relax at an inn?" Balthazar said, his head swimming. Balthazar had had similar experiences to this. Cilam was obviously someone he had met during the full moon. In which case, he was incredibly lucky to still be alive. For Cilam to have survived an encounter with it, he would have had to have friends with him.

Yet, Balthazar was even more puzzled, although he was reasoning an evening he spent completely unconscious. Cilam had met Balthazar as an enraged lunatic, and he was able to recognize the gunman even in his human form. If Cilam had seen Balthazar's human form, then Balthazar must have been sane during a part of the encounter. Then why couldn't Balthazar remember him?

"I'm sorry Cilam, I don't remember you at all... I have... Mental issues," Balthazar murmured under his breath, his mood taking a docile turn. He sat down examining the wolf-shifter. Although he felt a connection with Cilam, some part of him, his primal instincts, wanted to rip the shapeshifter to pieces.

Before Balthazar sat down, Cilam noticed his hand just inches away from the revolver. He couldn't blame him after what happened that night, and he had suggested that he wouldn't remember. But Cilam didn't care very much for the gun that he could pull up any moment, since he would be able to disarm him even long before he could shoot.

"Regardless, if my being here were work related why would it concern you? Is it unusual for a person to relax at an inn?" The Confused Gunman said, he obviously knew that he had met Cilam before, it did take long for Cilam to figure that out. "No, It has nothing to do with me what so ever, and I'd probably like it that way, I was just making conversation." Cilam said calmly as he drank some of his water.

Last time they had met was right before a full moon, and then he changed into his werewolf-like form, much to Cilams surprise back then, but he was able to hold off in his wolf form, that encounter had not been his first with werewolves, and certainly wouldn't be his last.

"I'm sorry Cilam, I don't remember you at all... I have... Mental issues." The Gunman said quietly, nearly like a whisper. Cilam drank more of his water and took a bite of his corn bread. "Though I don't like to say it, I already know of that, last time we met you see was about ten minutes before a full moon, but I think you where already begining to suspect that." Cilam said calmly and watched the Gunman. "All I can do is thank you for an interesting night." He added and drank the rest of his water.
