The sudden weight on Kery made her tumble and lean against the wall. It was about her turn to take care of the other, since she depended on Kamui to get her to the inn room through the rain. The blood dripping from his shoulder was heavy, staining both of their clothes. Or, maybe, it was her own blood. She saw the poison dripping from his mouth, a dark blue color, as well as from the cut made on his inner thigh.
The musty, cool air was not a pleasant greeting as she stepped into a frigid room. With only one bed in sight, she carefully moved Kamui on a chair. He was sure heavy. Unconscious as he may have been, the dire wolf shifter was still warm to the touch. Wincing, she took something from within her pocket and poured the powder around the wounds. Hopefully, the pain would be muffled by his unconsciousness. Slowly, carefully, she bounded the wounds, which was very awkward when she reached his leg, with cloth she found from the bathroom health kit.
Her handiwork done, Kerythia laid the man back on the bed, tucking him in as if he were a child. But, night had settled in and the room had grown freezing. Not sure of what to do, but frozen, she crawled into bed next to the man, exhausted. He warmed her, and she curled next to him, holding his hand like she always dreamed of. It was nice and toasty in bed and the girl fell asleep beside her lover, not knowing if he would wake up or not.
(I suggest you post either next morning or in the middle of the night if Kamui does wake up.)

Kamui awoke that morning with a start. He had a massive killer migrane and he was a bit shakey. He would survive the poison but he wouldn't likely be able to do quite as much for the next couple of days. The next thing he noticed, besides his own current physical state, was Kery nestled up against him. He slowly traced his fingers through her hair and kissed her on the forehead before getting up out of the bed... And falling right back down onto it. He wouldn't be doing much moving for a few days at the least. However, being there in the bed with Kery meant that they had made it away from Kinyan and were not going to be bothered for a while. Currently, it would be necessary to rest. He was hungry but he couldn't even go hunt as he had done in the past.
He would have to wait until Kery woke up to be able to actually get anything done but he focused the energy he usually used on physical tasks, on mental ones instead. Plans were formed in his mind just in case Kery's brother attacked again with him in his current state. All he could do was hope that Kery wouldn't have been as badly affected by the poison as he put everything together. Every plan involved her in some way and he was sure he wouldn't be able to get anything done without her. when his thoughts were finished, he simply laid back and wraped his arms around her, falling asleep once again.

Sweet dreams and sweet smells flooded her senses. Kerythia felt movement early in the morning, but ignored it. Then strong but gentle arms wrapped around her, and she curled her little otter tail around the owner of them. She felt something brush by her otter tails, then the sweet silence of a man resting. She continued in this aromatic bliss. The sun had just about left the horizon when she stirred once more. Kamui was still asleep when she shifted into an otter and crept out of his arms. The night had refreshed her and she felt good as new. Then, she tried standing up. That hurt. The ache in her side and her still healing leg made it impossible to move fast. Her brother was still out there somewhere, probably on his way to Alevno City right now. She was desperately hungry, and a basket was waiting by the door. Hunting wasn't going to work, though fresh fish and vegetables looked good right now. Maybe the market was open. She carefully woke her love. "Kamui, I'm off to do a little shopping for breakfast. Stay here, and rest." With that, she went out the door.

Stay here and rest... She had said that as if he had a choice. When she left he calmly laid back over the bed, stretching out and trying to stay relaxed. While she was shopping he would continue formulating plans and trying to make sure that nothing would catch them so offguard that they wouldn't be able to do anything about it. Thoughts and strategies came to mind but with his body in the condition that it was in, he would be very hard pressed to do anything about anything. However, Kery being there was enough to make him relax a little and so he let her shop while he continued to try to think of a way he could protect her.

As she flew down the stairs, she felt very, very sore. As soon as she reached the end of the stairs, she gave away and leaned on the side of the hallway. Her knees ached and her spine felt really tingly for some reason. But, as she continued limping to the marketplace, they seemed to lighten up. Seems as if my recovery rate is speeding up.
The market was just opening, with the rise of the sun. She knew she would get the first batch of food, and smiled. The fresher the product, the better the dish tasted. She selected a beautiful looking trout, a just baked loaf of bread, cocoa powder and sugar to sweeten it, a dozen eggs, deer meat, mushrooms, various herbs, various onions, and lots and lots of pastries. The sun was well above the horizon when she was done, and she hurried back to the inn they were staying at.
Lucky enough for her, there was a kitchen inside the room. She quietly entered, trying not to disturb Karmui, but succeeded to stumble because of her bad leg, creating quite a ruckus. She unloaded her things and started cooking omelets, meat, and fish. She had put all the pastries in the oven, to let the warm up. There was a small table, but no dishes. She growled.

Kamui had of course awakened upon Kery's stumbling into the room but he pretended to be asleep until she started cooking. The different scents made it difficult to pretend and he took his first tentative steps out of bed since the last time he had tried and failed. He was still a little dizzy and wobbly but he had managed to stand and take a few steps before stumbling a bit. Each movement required effort but he knew some of it was from lack of use. Each step he made, each movement he went to take required less and less energy until at last he managed to walk to Kery at about the moment she growled. "What's wrong?" he asked, have knowing the answer already. No dishes in these rooms but that wouldn't be so bad, most inns had a bar. Even assuming this one didn't he would be fine as long as he was with her. "and when can we eat, I'm hungry enough to eat an otter." He said playfully, wrapping his arms around her.
