Dago make a good point, the Saints are in year 4 of their rebuilding and they have hit some bumps in the road along the way to where they are at now.

I am not predicting a Falcons win but I have a feeling the game will be competive.
This Falcons edition might not win but they won`t lie down either, not against a division rival. WTF.gif

anybody who looks at this game objectively would pick the Saints to win, but I am surprised at some of the pessimism and near hostility

it's a one in a million shot to take a franchise that is in the dumps and turn it around in one or two years. The Saints blew chunks in 2005 and have been building to this year since then. Some things look good on paper (Jason David) and just don't work out.

2 years ago the Falcons were in the shitter and made some good moves. Your coaches and front office WILL make mistakes, but I think you have staff smart enough to learn from those mistakes just like our coach had to mature with his playcalling.

The Falcons have a bright future ahead. you are 4-2 and most of what is wrong with your team could be covered by offseason free agency

Ahhhhh hell, we ain't hostile, just hard headed die hards set in our ways.

And speaking of play calling, that asshole in the booth calling plays for the Falcons..... IMHO, he needs to be ran the fuck outta here. But that's my opinion and you know what they said about those.

We're 4-2 now and headed towards 4-4 in the next few weeks.

There's one good thing about Monday nights game though............

I don't have cable or Sat-TV, so I won't have to watch it.

do you really think you are going to lose to Washington? huh.gif

MHO - over the years of watching NFL football I've formed the personal opinion that the most dangerous teams are teams with losing records. I've seen the Falcons as 10 point underdogs beat the shit out of "good" teams during losing years.

That being said, Washington is due a win and with the changes going on up there no one knows what to expect from one week to the next now.

The Falcons should beat the Skins, the Sucks twice, the Bills and have a real good chance against the Panties in BoA stadium.
The Jets and Iggles are not that impressive but the road game at Giants and the home game against the Saints will be tough.
We are talking about possibly between 9 to 11 win but that won`t be good enough for some Vick fans.

BUT, I ain't a Convick fan........ I'd be happy with 9. ... 10 or 11 just makes it sweeter.

Well in that case, I'll say Atlanta wins this game.

Just so I can be the only one who is right if we do. thumbsup.gif

On another note, historically, the Falcons have never preformed well on a short week following a Monday night game. And that is especially true if the MN game was on the road.

But were any of those games against a sucky Washington side? tongue.gif
