Soot walks in off the street still carrying his pack and trunk. He heaves the trunk off his back and rests it on his right foot.
"HELLO IS ANYONE IN?" He waits patiently for a reply. |

Taking Thomas's nod as leave to enter Soot puts the trunk down to one side and slips off the pack. He sighs and faces Thomas.
"I'm sorry to say that I have bad news. It has been confirmed to me that Ral Morga is dead. He died saving myself and my companions from an explosion in a warehouse near Escavon. As he was thefounder of the warriors of light I thought I had better come and tell you. Looking relieved to have said it he relaxes a little. |

Looking slightly surprised
"You've taken it better than I hoped. I was horrified when my worst suspicians were confirmed. I only knew Ral Morga in passing but his death has made me curious about your orders history. I know it shares some of it wih the Knights of the Code and the Shield of Lars but the knights have been quite tight lipped about it. If you have time later I should like to learn more." He picks up the pack. "Still it will have to wait for another time. I need to speak with Gordon at the Mages Retreat" |

He settles the pack on his back and hefts up the trunk. "I'd better get to Gordon. He was quite upset when I last saw him. I'd like to give him some good news. "Be seeing you" With that he turns and walks out the door and into the street |

Some time later, Thomas could be found pacing around the entrance hall.
This carries on for a while until he stops suddenly, looking like he has lost an internal struggle. "Damn it..." He then stalks off into another room. |
