I know that this isn't techincally an ad, and I am really sorry for trespassing on your board, but I was wondering if you'd like to participate in a Triwizard Tournament event?
It would basically work like this: There would be a total of 3 sites participating to mimic the three schools in Harry Potter. I have one site that's considering, my board is all for it, and possibly you guys as well! The site owner of this site would select 3 students to bring over to the hosting site. You can do this however you want - randomly pick, have members sign up, or do a contest. These three members from each site (total of 9) would make an account on the hosting site, where they can interact in this new setting.
They do not have to quit the board they came from! If they'd like, they can be evenly active on both, or somewhat active on the hosting site.
The hosting site would make a Goblet of Fire contest, in which the Champion from each school will be selected. We then host 3 challenges, just like in the book, and give scores out of 10! The champion with the highest score is the winner, and bring glory back to their board!
I've purposely asked sites that have very few members. This is just because I've never seen cross-over event done on any other site, and I think it would be great publicity for new members! Let me know what you think as soon as you can! I'd really like this thing to be running by the end of August.
