Daytona International Speedyway. Quite the site right after the storm, or so Trixie imagined. Though it wasn't in Ocean Coast, that didn't stop the storm from reaching the shores of Daytona and causing plenty of damage to the city, including it's legendary speedway racetrack. So while Trixie had been at home, stuffing herself silly with food, lighting candles, developing pictures, and for all intents and purposes trying to stay alive and survive the storm, Daytona was getting pounded by winds rain and everything else that came along with it just like Ocean Coast. The storm was over now though, since long gone having left it's mark on Florida. Everything damaged had to be rebuilt, including the Speedway. Though it hadn't suffered too much structural damage, it did need it's work to be repaired. It had been done now though. So, today was the day. The speedway was being re-opened, most likely to lift people's damp spirits. There were races to be had today and Trixie was supposed to be the one to capture them. She'd been called, photography being her profession and all, to capture this day on film. Though for the past few days she'd been doing the same in Ocean Coast, working for the paper documenting the rebuilding efforts she'd also been playing her part in the efforts cleaning the beach, painting, lifting, working in soup kitchens. Today though...today was about having fun and making money doing exactly what she loved. "Watch it!" She said as a woman and her three kids barged passed her eager to geet to their seats before the race started. It's the one thing she dreaded. People were so rude and sometimes her tempter could be short, especially when you disrupted her during her craft. She could be a bit snappy sometimes, but she would try to keep it under control today. She snapped a few pictures of the group and sighed as she watched them take their seats. Out on the track there were plenty of cars, pit crew members, camera crews, the works. There were even fans getting autographs and just about everything else. Trix backtracked through the stands and made her way down as far as she could. She reached the open space of where the pit crews and such were. She turned until she was facing the stands. They were definitely full with excited people, people ready to get their minds off of the tragedy that many of them had faced during the storm. "Welcome race fans to the re-opening of the Daytona International Speedway!" she said mocking what the announcer was sure to say before the race. She let a smile play on her lips and turned back around, ready to do what she was getting paid for as well as maybe have a bit of fun and get into a bit of trouble.TAGGED: OPEN, OUTFIT: HERE, NOTES: La-Di-Da
