hey everyone! as you are probably well aware, the charity event (to raise funds for clearing up the aftermath of the blackout) is well underway! as it stands, the blackout is definitely over and the weather is a lot less gloomy, with the clouds finally retreating for good and giving way to clear skies with lots of sunshine. restoration efforts are in full effect, and part of that restoration involves a
charity gala.
the charity gala will be held at a prestigious banquet hall in ocean coast on saturday, july 28. the event will take place in the evening and tickets will be sold for 150 dollars a piece, with all proceeds going to support various local businesses and clean up efforts around town. for $150, you are guaranteed access to a fun-filled and exceptionally classy night, along with dinner, drinks, and a single entry in a draw. yes, that's right - attendance ensures that your name will be entered into a draw to win one of fifteen fabulous prizes, thanks to the generosity of the gala sponsors. five of the fifteen prizes will be extravagant (e.g., all expense-paid vacation package for two), while the remaining ten prizes will be valuable but a little less extravagant (e.g., gift certificates for a local spa). if your character will be attending, please reply to this thread with your character's name so that we may enter them in the draw for a prize (prizes will be awarded completely randomly with a random number generator).
