alright i'm requesting a cam gigandet for john danieu (pb: hayden christensen) and this is a lengthy friend request so please just bear with me as i delve into the specifics:
▲ one - age should be 25-29. member group = newbies.
▲ two - cam was born and raised in pedesina, which is a very, very small town in italy - so small in fact, that the town has only 33 inhabitants. yes, 33. so cam grew up in this tiny little town with a very humble family and there wasn't really much to do, so he started to kick a soccer ball around and eventually became pretty good at it while playing with what few friends he had. fast forward several years and he ends up at a college in milan, lombardy (also in italy) after having received a soccer (or football, as they call it) scholarship. it would've been difficult for him to adjust at first because moving from a small, unknown town to milan would be a really, really big transition. that and it would mean spending four years away from his family, which would be difficult for someone who spent his entire life surrounded by close family and friends. you are free to pick any college in milan (so long as they have a decent soccer/football team), and you are also free to pick whatever subject he majored in. throughout his college career, cam was good at soccer/football but never great - so anytime scouts would come around to recruit for the national teams, cam would never really be acknowledged or selected because he was constantly outshined by other teammates. he was kind of the little fish in a big pond, so to speak, because he was good but never quite great. it didn't bother him too much because although he loved soccer/football, he never really imagined himself playing soccer/football for a living. he never really thought about making a career out of it because the idea was to graduate, get a job, and support his family back in pedesina. that is just the super traditional italian way, and it was the way he'd always expected it to be since he was one of the very rare few from their town to even make it to college. in any case, cam graduated from college at the age of 22 and found himself a job just on the outskirts of milan. again, you can decide the job based on whatever he majored in and was interested in, academically. he would've trekked it back home to pedesina but he knew he wouldn't find a job there so he stuck it out and just sent money home every month. as for soccer/football? he gave up on that dream. he joined a local league just for leisure and began playing just for fun - no scouts, no nothing. enter john danieu. john is the current captain of juventus f.c., one of the national clubs in italian football. he does all his training and practices out of ocean coast, florida (please don't ask the logistics, that was a huge mess up that can't be fixed anymore LOL). in any case, john is captain of juventus and he and his coach are obviously constantly looking around for new talent - especially small town good-but-not-great talent that other agents aren't necessarily looking at. john prefers the good-but-not-great talent because the super great are always super cocky and not great team players, wheres the good are great team players and have tons of potential to become amazing at the sport. john and the coaches would've stumbled upon old videos of cam playing soccer/football in college, and that's where the interest would've began. the agents affiliated with the team would've been dispatched to go talk to cam all these years laters, which would've obviously come as quite a shock to cam considering he's been out of college soccer/football for quite some time now. after a preliminary meeting with the agents, john would've been considerably more interested and would've flown out to the outskirts of milan to meet cam for himself and give him the breakdown. basically, he and the coaches (as well as the entire team) are interested in seeing cam play so he'd be invited to come out for training and practice in ocean coast, florida. i imagine cam would've been pretty shocked and also a bit apprehensive, but he has loved soccer/football his entire life and he feels like this isn't an opportunity he wants to give up so easily. so this is where we're at now - cam has just been flown out to ocean coast to sort of "try out" for the team. so that's where this plot will start off. he's been in ocean coast a grand total of ONE day and would currently be staying at a hotel. obviously, he doesn't know a single person in town since he's only been here a day but don't worry, john will take good care of him :') especially if that's his future teammate (which is, ideally, the direction i'd like this to go in). i don't want to plot out too much but obviously the point is for cam to end up on the team with john :) it's important to note that john will also be playing for the national italian team in the world cup so who knows what could happen - cam might end up playing too!
▲ three - what about his personality? well he comes from a tiny town in italy - practically unknown - so you can bet your butt he's a humble dude. i mean this is a big deal for him - potentially getting recruited for a big team like juventus? yep, big deal, especially since he may end up playing for italy in the world cup. he should be pretty old-fashioned and charming :3 he will neeeeed to be confident. yes, it is possible to be humble but also confident - but it is not so possible to be humble and cocky. fine line between confident and cocky :3 he should be confident in himself and his abilities - which is also part of why he was never phased when he wasn't scouted by talent agents in college. he knows he's got what it takes to be on juventus, and now it's just a matter of showing his skills. please do not make him super sensitive, that will never work out - not with the team, and definitely not with john. girly and super sensitive guys = no go. he doesn't want any cry babies on his team :3 he shouldn't really be much of a manwhore cause those aren't the kinds of values that would've been instilled back when he was living in a town with just 33 people. just be realistic about it and don't make him all crazy weird or anything :3 he needs to be dedicated to his sport so he should be hard working and all that nice stuff.
▲ four - if you are planning to be inactive, stop reading :| lolol seriously if you're going to ditch or be on once a week, please don't take this. i'd also prefer if you could make a facebook account cause we get a lot of the minor interactions done that way and it really helps in terms of plotting.
