denny was more passive aggressive about things unless he was truly passionate about them. no stress express was the train that he liked to stay on. if kat was going to start fighting with him over everything, there would certainly be an issue because that wasn't denny's style whatsoever. that was more drama than it was worth. "no, but i'm pretty good at making shit up as i go along?" he offered, a smug grin forming quickly on his lips. cute just wasn't a good word for a man. cute described puppies and little boys in their sunday's best and other assorted fluffy things that roamed on the earth. a man wasn't supposed to be cute. precious was almost as bad, possibly even worse depending on the context. "it would. i'd be impressed if you could get a dolphin to hold a pen," denny commented. it was probably impossible without any sort of fingers and what have you. oh well, she could try. denny was putting his money on the fake dolphin being the only signature she'd get if they went. "who knows. i'll look into it and we'll go from there!" dennis replied. he wasn't sure he could handle being in a cabin in the middle of summer. he preferred being tucked into his freezing room with the blacked out windows and the ac on high. humidity wasn't his friend. it might screw with a girl's hair, but men tended to sweat more than women and dennis didn't like feeling drenched all the time. san diego weather was his absolute favorite. it was cooler than the inland part of southern california, but still got warm enough to where he could enjoy his summers and the beaches. "i've been to st. augustine's a few times. the fort is bad ass and they've got this little town type thing that's pretty cool. i've never done any ghost tours but i'd certainly be down to give 'em a shot," he replied.
