You are the best thing,Looking down at Alice with that pout he couldn't help but chuckle at her, "Oh, you do, do you?" he asked as he tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. How was it that they could go from arguing and trying to compete against one another to being a couple who seemed to be actually falling for one another. He loved that they could both be playful with one another and he hoped that as long as their relationship continued they wouldn't lose that playful side to them. They acted like kids half of the time, but that was part of the fun, they didn't feel the need to grow up and be 'oh so serious.' As far as Caleb was concerned they had loads of time to be serious but now wasn't the time.Alice seemed to want to forget the night that she kissed the bartender but it would forever be burnt into Caleb's mind. Even if it was just because of what happened afterwards, it was amusing to look back at Alice trying to distract him from driving her home. That night effectively was why they had ended up getting together, if she hadn't been drunk, it probably wouldn't have happened. When she said that he didn't need to hope that she wouldn't be kissing anyone while she was away, he smiled. He knew he could trust her, or at least he didn't have a reason to doubt that she wouldn't cheat on him.When Alice stopped walking he looked at her as she said she wasn't going to cry because she was leaving him, but he could already tell this goodbye was going to get to her and him too, though he wasn't going to cry over it, he'd probably just go and sulk when he got back to Aubrey's.
