Um no. A cracker is either:
A. A white person B. A person who uses a script to get a password
A hacker is something completely different.

Yeah permission masks for staff forums are way better, more secure and impossible for members to hack.

You know what's even funnier? You have to correct the guy rather than understanding what he means and replying to that...
Most people use really simple passwords for their protected forums, and are usually linked to the forum name. One HP board I was a part of once had the Gryffindor forum password as 'lion'. I mean, how stupid is that? I found out later that the others were named after their respective animal also, e.g. Slytherin = 'snake'. That sort of password is easy to guess.
Plus, staff members are more likely to leak a forum password that their account password. They have no reason to keep it hidden if it's not the same password as they use on other forums.

You know what's funnier? No one cares! He didn't even ask a question. He's generally ranting, so Day's post was totally correct.

Try http://www.spreebb.com I believe their free IPB forums are much more secure than IF's modified version of IPB.
