OK just want to see who would be interested in a lift up for next week, i know some of you have already bought train tickets, and i can do this if there is not enough demand for car lifts/hiring minibus etc, but just thought i'd check out the driving option first.

So far i know of me, and one other definite in Northampton. waiting to hear back from tony (assuming he makes it back by then!!)

any others?

I will be up north already. Sort out a drinking hole and I'll see you up there.

I will be meeting some lads from the Barrow bus and tempting them to go after the Villa game.

I am not going to Villa, so I'll be lurking outside ninja.gif or around town.

8.19 from Euston no change until Manchester Piccadilly.

Think there's about four or five on it at least.

Well i've booked on the 1103, as they had no availability for the 0819 having left it soooo late.

I'll be on the 0819 one though, all being well tongue.gif

I'm going up by car so I'll miss the train p*ss up. Probably just as well as I'm bringing a mate's young son (they said bring somebody along and double the gate). I think he's been to West Ham once so he doesn't know what he's letting himself in for! The train experience could be one step too far for his first game smile.gif

We need a branch flag so those of us who don't go by train can meet up in Manchester.

Well, I was right, he didn't know what he was in for - but he loved it! I had to explain some of the songs (partly because his southern softie's ear is not accustomed to the accent in God's own country) but he was singing with the best of us. We have a convert, now I'm figuring out how we're going to get to Ashton Town - where is it?

£50? £80? £2000? Who cares, it's only money. I'm loaded and I don't care about the rest of yus. If I can sail over from Ireland, using only my brother John as a raft, and make it in the big city, then I deserve it.. Bunch of traitors. Especially you, Lennon.

I can't believe I missed this... Nice one Rick.
