wake me up
I know I've always been shit at computer games Because your brother always beats me And if I lost I go across and chuck all the controllers at the TV And then you laugh at me And be asking me If I'm gonna be home next week And then you lie with me till I fall asleep And flutter eye lash on my cheek between the sheets And you will never know Just how beautiful you are to me But maybe I'm just in love When you wake me up Cause maybe you're lovable Maybe you're my snowflake And your eyes turn from green to grey And in the winter I'll hold you in a cold place And you should never cut your hair Cause I love the way you flick it off your shoulder YOUR Michelle’s schedule filled fast and most of the time relationships were hardly on her mind. While it what admirable to see couples walking around and loving each other in the light of the noon day sun, she wasn’t capable of that in her time frame. It seemed like she had time but with the orchestra and living on her own it was a bit harder. She barely had time for herself and yet somehow managed to keep things classy. Lately she found herself surrounded by business and patronages. She needed to speak with her father, who was now pushing her into these businesses and the fact that she didn’t want to go to work in an office was burdening her. Girls were the farthest thing from her mind. She had dated men in her life and that didn’t satisfy her, she was just attracted to women. Her parents didn’t seem to mind, they were relatively accepting. France, however, was not, or at least the men in France were not. She didn’t care though, her passion was music and she was focusing on that. She was hoping that one day after the crowds at the concerts slowed she would be able to retire the strings on her violin and place it in the case. She would have a family, adopt some kids perhaps. She wasn’t one for slowing down though and she always kept the crowds coming, whether by her violin or the artwork she produced.
Darien, a friend of Serena’s, told her about his friend, Amara. He said she was quite a catch and rather much like him. Michelle always liked Darien’s demeanor but wasn’t attracted to him on a deeper level. She was intrigued by this Amara Kennedy. Not asking many questions, she agreed to exchange the phone numbers and had texted her couple of times. She was reassured she would not be disappointed by Amara. She had heard promising things that Michelle liked to hear. The way Darien made her sound was definitely like a guy, which was a good check because Michelle was definitely feminine. She was a classy, violinist, and someone who was fairly good with office work and negotiations. She was skeptical though, seeing as Michelle did not like wasting time with people who bored her. She wasn’t afraid of tonight’s encounter, she was more than happy enough to attend for her friend’s sake. She wasn’t going to deny the girl a date. It was a mutual agreement; Michelle’s curiosity got the best of her. Michelle walked the blocks from the auditorium to her small, quaint household in the nice part of the city. She was happy to have gotten away from parliament and all the shuffle of government, even if she was sort of like the ambassador of France while she was here. She looked over at the time and smiled, it was just about time to get going. She looked into her mirror and checked herself over. No sense in changing with so little time. She liked her outfit, but decided to pull the clip from her bun and let it fall down around her shoulders. The soft wave that went through her brunette lochs completed this pink-champagne dress. On her way out from a coat hook she grabbed her gray, cotton coat. She slipped it over her body and on her way out started to button it up. Deciding to walk since she was only a block from the Piazza, she started on her way. Her heels on the cobblestone were a nice beat with the soft clang of her bracelets. Standing in front of the restaurant, Toscana, she looked around and headed inside. Her walk was elegant; her slender legs strode long and easy in the heels. She looked around and mentioned the name of the reservation. The man nodded, greeted her with great admiration and showed her toward the back to a small table for two. The woman sitting on the far end was beautiful, with blond hair and a simple wardrobe. She suddenly felt overdressed for the occasion but she saw no reason before to change from the rehearsal with the orchestra. She assured the man she could make it from where they were and on her way unbuttoned her jacket. ” Hello, you must be Ms. Kennedy, I presume?” Her voice was so calm and serene, like the waves of the ocean. Her deep marine eyes were locked on Amara, but her hands rested her jacket around the chair, which she had pulled out for herself. She sat down, gently placing her hands on top of each other upon the table top. ” I’m sorry I’m running a little late, I was held at my rehearsal a bit longer than expected.” Her satin lips turned up into tranquil smile. Michelle had been looking forward to tonight actually; she hadn’t been out in months. The last lady she had been with was terribly manipulative and Michelle could not stand it. It was a broken relationship. She had escaped with her respect and her dignity without being put down too much. The nastiest things could be said but Michelle would keep her mouth shut. Her long legs were shaped up in her high heels and her dress was definitely cut a bit short but that was certainly fine. She wore things in style and class. She was always at the height of fashion and never took her sloppy time. Those marine eyes searched around the small restaurant as if looking for a quick glimpse but she couldn’t see anyone alone. She was aware of the awed looks she was getting but her eyes never wavered. However, she felt a sense of self endearment and somewhat good about herself. She smiled softly at some young men that were probably flattering themselves and she just followed her guide to the lady she was seeing tonight. She stepped around the corner, dodging ever so slightly the long leaves of plants. She saw the woman at the table, she smile. The woman was beautiful, with her blond hair, the coolness of her outfit. She seemed simple and less complex than anyone here. She was admirable. They were alone back here, private catering, she felt content with that. The hazel eyes reminded her of a forest and her face was beautifully sculpted. Michelle was enthralled with this girl, but her lips were pursed softly and her head was held high.
It seemed her date was in a daydream before she arrived and as she was settling herself down she could only feel her gaze upon her skin. The top of her dress was elegant and she brought her hand gliding gently over the rim to brush her skin gently, relieving herself of an itch. The moment she heard the voice of the other woman she was almost delighted by the coarse undertone of it all. She was absolutely charming besides her lack of words at first. She had probably kept her waiting far too long. She smiled back at her, the gentle curves of her face made for a kind look. For the moment she took in the rest of her surroundings. ” It’s a pleasure to meet you Miss Kennedy. I had been looking forward to tonight since Darien and Serena set us up.” Her French accent was a touch to the class that she had been upholding. She figured it may have been just too much. However, the lady did not seem to mind and she was happy to have caught her in a good mood. ” I’m terribly sorry for my overdressing, I did not want to keep you waiting any longer.” Michelle listened to a nearby fountain, her eyes rested closed for a moment, the lullaby of water rushing over her. Calming breath entered but she didn’t want to ignore her date. She looked at her, she seemed nothing like Darien had described; cocky, proud, and confident. Perhaps she was taken aback by her dress, she could understand. It was a bit much; she didn’t want to stand out too much. She listened to the voice of her companion and she smiled amusingly,” Dance rehearsal, heavens no. I can’t say I know many dances without a partner. It was for the orchestra.” As her words escaped she went for the complimentary water on the table and pressed it to her lips when she uttered her last words. She noticed the waiter only seconds after Amara and she said,” Red wine will do perfectly fine, unless you prefer white, I do not mind.” Her eyes were a soft gaze to Amara and the man. She had no reason to be picky nor was she ever truly picky. After the order was set she said,” Have you been here before? I have not, please, what would you recommend here?” Tag;; Uranus | Outfit| Notes: Bleh, I'm sorry it sucks! | charlie |

The voice that carried over to her ears wasn’t completely serious; it was almost a teasing poke at her. She should not have been so formal with her date. She was just thinking of her father and how she had always been around parliament and the cameras. She gave a polite smile, almost wanting to take back her respectable performance tonight. She looked around and admired the spectators around them. Calling her Amara, she smiled, cute name. She had known the name but she chose to be a bit more like her father in the politician world. ” I love your name. You should call me Michelle or Elle, either is fine with me.” She smiled at the woman and then gave herself a glance over the body. She chuckled softly,” Oh this thing? Thank you, I haven’t worn it in a while. I think I should tone it down next time, I like your attire. It’s very appropriate.” The way that Amara looked and sounded was even a push toward another date, but even so her language and the way she spoke was wonderful. She caught the eye rolling and she stifled a laugh with another drink of her water. She nodded curtly,” Yes, I think it’s cute. She’s very active with things. However, I think you’re forgetting Darien. He pushed you toward this date didn’t he? I know he pushed me.” She smiled, a small blush spreading across her cheeks.
Michelle took part in various performing activities. She kept her legs fit and slender with the ballet she took part in. She was a good dancer, never second guessing herself. She was pretty confident of herself, but maybe the French were always like that. She took in Amara’s face and the sight of her hands. They looked soft but something about them was hinting at grease and motor oil; she looked like she could work on cars or do something with them. She was taken by surprise at the formality of the wine choosing and very much impressed with the selection. Most men and women she had been on a date with ordered by color. It wasn’t very impressing but it got her by. She was a lover of fine drinks when it came down to her French base and the way they went to vineyards, even her own. Naturally Michelle was a reserved woman, she never laughed too loudly, and she never spoke too loudly. She wasn’t going to yell at you, she wasn’t in everyone’s business, and she just didn’t really take an interest in the follies and vices of others. She had her mother to blame for the styles she wore and that of the inhabitants of France for having such astounding clothing lines. She had never really worn anything less than this, but even when she wore shorts it was a bit more on the high end of life. She was ravishing and she always sported sundresses. She may have been strange but she wore dresses all the time. She just had to think of the situation and the events at hand. Michelle was notorious for her planning of outfits and her organization. She just didn’t like being too rushed and she liked having a smooth time. The suggestion to keep wearing her dresses was nice and she took it as a compliment. She smiled at her date, the all teeth smile she rarely gave to most of her dates. ” You’re really flattering, you know? We’ll certainly be quite the pair if you do wear one. But you must promise that you will wear one if I continue to wear these dresses.” Her lips turned up into a delicate smile.
The curiosity of her date was intriguing for her as she mentioned her friend Darien. She had been a friend of Darien’s since she arrived. He was actually the man who picked her up at the airport when she moved here. Something about his father knowing hers, after all, he was quite the gentleman. She reflected the grin and replied,” I’ll have to thank him for pushing you. I am having a splendid time and I’m sure the night has only just begun.” The fact that Michelle was Amara’s first date in a long time she was honored. She found this girl to be interesting and not at all what she had been expecting. Then again she couldn’t expect much anymore after the past girlfriends and past dates. Michelle was impressed, not even afraid to admit it. She could imagine the little cogs in Amara’s head as she mentioned her tastes for the night. She was curious to see what her date knew about food and what was the better dishes here. A mix of the two sounded fabulous but she didn’t want to overload on anything tonight. She thought about the other option, folding her menu back into place. She liked spinach and the cheese would complement that well. She let her index finger tap against her lip once and then twice before she said,” The Polla Alla Toscana sounds fabulous. Thank you for your input.” She was passionate about her music. The concerts were just glorious, making Michelle feel right at home. The stage was hers to own when she had her solos. One day she hoped to share that with someone who understood. Michelle had to practice and of course at home was the perfect place. Most people could not stand it. Her last girlfriend had down right told her to never play in the house for it had annoyed her. Michelle just couldn’t take that, her music was her life, and telling her to stop was almost like telling her that she was horrible. She watched her date scan her menu as she listened. She wanted to know what Amara was thinking. A grin developed on her lips as she said she’d love to go. However, to top coming to her show she would take her out to celebrate. ” Darien certainly did not lie about you, you’re very charming. I would love a drink with you.” She had never had anyone take her out to celebrate after a concert. ” So do tell me, what do you do Amara?” Tag;; Uranus | Outfit| Notes: Me too!| charlie |

She watched her give surrender and smiled. Her date was full of animation and enthusiasm. What was more perfect than someone who would play with her? She nodded, taking a sip of her waning water. The waiters seemed to be so attentive here because with just a glance toward one he brought the pitcher of water. She smiled with rosy red lips. Her big marine eyes sparkled at him,” Thank you.” She looked back toward Amara just then letting the boy babble and walk away. She said,” After all, you’ll be attending my recital. They get pretty formal in those.” She took that into consideration. Most of her acquaintances and friends that attended always looked splendid and rather formal. Sometimes Michelle didn’t even look at pompous as all of them. Perhaps after this they would go their separate ways but Michelle would be more attentive to her texts and she would definitely love to talk to her more. She enjoyed the fact that her date was so willing to come to her recital. She must really appreciate music or maybe there was an alternative motive.
Michelle wondered what those lips tasted like. They were so soft looking and every smile on her lips was inviting and heartwarming. She wouldn’t admit that though. She wasn’t the type to blabber on about internal desires. She nodded and let her date read over her own menu. Michelle stroked her brunette hair before she looked down at the silverware and continued to fix everything. Seeing as she was about to eat some lovely chicken dinner she was going to get herself ready for it. She wondered what the seafood tasted like here. Surely Amara would not bring her here again right away; she’d mix it up and lead Michelle on a wonderful culinary adventure. Michelle could be won by food, she loved to taste test and find new things that she liked. Even more so she could be won by genuine kindness and a bit of mystery. Her attention was back on Amara when she was talking about Darien. What seemed like a giggle sounded from her lips,” Oh my, I do think I’ve gotten him in trouble. I do hope you won’t be too harsh on him. He certainly won me over on my debate to come.” A mischievous twinkle in her eyes. Amara was about to be the official wine tester for the night. The actions were swift and fluid by Amara’s hands and she was delighted to know it was good. She smiled as her glass was handed to her. She was perfectly inclined to set it on the table but as her date ordered her meal she took a sip. Until the man asked Michelle and she placed her order with a small salad on the side before her dinner. After her descended to the kitchen to place the order in with the cook they were back to conversations. For some reason she wasn’t surprised that Amara was a racer. She sort of set her wine down gently and leaned in a little closer. Hearing she played a little piano was fabulous. She said,” Somehow this does not surprise. However, I am most pleased to know my date is here in one piece.” She chuckled before looking Amara over once more. ” I do hope you are a safe driver. In any case I would love to come see you race as long as I don’t have to clean any blood up after the race.” She smiled at her. She thought it was quite interesting that Amara raced, she was just concerned that she would get seriously injured. She didn’t want to have a fatality and she wasn’t sure she condoned it. She knew how dangerous racing could get, with vicious competitors. She said,” You seem to live a much more eventful life than I do.” She let her lips brush her wine glass until she tipped it upward to take another drink. She was sure Amara had clothes to wear. She was fashionable and she liked that. If there was anything she liked more it was the fact that her date could actually find nice clothes to wear. Her style was very intriguing and something she’d like to see more often. She shook her head with a small chuckle,” I’m sure you have something to wear that’s even better looking than what I’m wearing.” She looked down at the tablecloth once more and then to the hem of her dress. It was quite short from what she could tell and the nights in Venice weren’t too terribly cold. She could make it home in one piece and with more than enough body heat. Her heels on the other hand were coming off as soon as they were out of the restaurant. She smiled toward Amara,” You know you don’t even have to wear something formal if you don’t want to. It’s not mandatory it’s just most people do.” She blinked a couple of times, taking in the features of Amara’s face. Perhaps a kiss on the first date would not be too bold for Michelle to make.
Michelle had known Darien for quite some time now. He was always a sweet man to her. He was rather positive and always engaging in conversation with her at his estate. He even let her use his pool while her landowners was under reconstruction. She’d even gone out with Darien a couple of times, but they were just friends. She would really have to thank Darien for introducing her to Amara. She listened to her and she laughed. Her voice was soft and her cheeks were a shade of pink,” I’m flattered. I guess he was just keeping me for himself.” She definitely didn’t mind Amara’s forwardness. She liked the bold and the spontaneous. She always liked those would were dominate. She wasn’t the one for making the moves first since she was reserved but if someone wanted to take the lead she was more than happy to follow. She looked at her date and the way she leaned back so sure of herself. Something reminded her of Darien except much more attractive to her. She was sitting there promising to never get any blood on Michelle’s clothes or anything like that and here she was not even thinking of her own life or her own blood. Michelle shook her head. She said,” Forget about my clothes, if you were bleeding I would get soaked before I let you get hurt or I let you get hurt. So I’m saying don’t make me have to clean up any of your blood.” She smiled softly before taking a sip of her wine. Before she knew it her dish was placed I front of her and her wine was being refilled. She gave a small thanks to the waiter before listening to Amara. She was glad that Amara was safe about her racing and always checking her cars. She’d seen some racing back in France that ended in fractures and death. She just couldn’t imagine seeing Amara like that. She was delighted that Amara wanted to come visit her during the weekdays and listening to her practices. ”Well I go to practices most of the week, but Monday through Wednesday I actually work for my father’s friend. Not very hard work, I’m a secretary. Other than that I like to take walks and do anything to escape my creepy landowner. That also means I look for other places to live.” Tag;; Uranus | Outfit| Notes: So classy!| charlie |

” Quit being modest, I’m sure you’ve seen prettier women than me. Not to mention I bet you’ve seen yourself in the mirror.” She shyly took a look away from Amara. Strange enough she actually felt like blushing and she felt a bit shy. Normally Michelle could be taken as shy but when presented in front of people she was rather nice and reserved. She was usually the strongest speaker and the one who could address almost anyone. She was known for taming beasts if that made sense. She thought about riding a motorcycle. She always felt safer with doors and seatbelts. A helmet just felt like a small party hat. However, the thrill of being behind Amara and holding her around the waist was surely a nice thought. She smiled at her and said,” I’m sure whatever you wear will have you looking absolutely entrancing as we both ride away on the back of your motorcycle. My friends will surely be jealous.” Her guys friends and surely even her straight or lesbian, it didn’t matter, friends. Surely enough Michelle was interested in Amara and her attention would be on her special guest.
Michelle wasn’t really afraid of bodily fluids. She had an older brother who was a great surgeon. She watched his sew up one of her mother’s employees and dearest friends at the house. It was quite the wonder and such a terrific amount of blood. While it did not faze her there it would if it was coming out of her girlfriend’s body and if such a thing happened Michelle would put a stop to it immediately. Of course, she didn’t have that power but she might plea or persuade her in other ways. Wait girlfriend? Heaven’s they weren’t even dating. Yet. Amara’s smile brought her from one memory to reality and she smiled,” I would appreciate that, but I’d also appreciate no blood on you, if that’s possible?” She bit her lower lip with an exquisite smile breaking through. Amara reached out to her and grasped her hand, her thumb running across her knuckles. She looked at their hands before smiling at Amara. Now confidence and physical contact was something she didn’t mind. Busy was an understatement but as Amara continued she really felt like this woman had listened to her. Most dates if they even bothered to ask her about one of her regular days or weeks just dismissed it and talked about themselves. She listened to her as she played into a seductive phase and then gave her a wink. The idea of her creep landlord getting threatened by Amara was something that she may just in fact enjoy made her chuckle a little. ” Busy but normal day in the life of me, you get used to it. Maybe you should imagine it, since I wear a pencil skirt and should you have a message I would surely take it.” She bit her lower lip before looking down and thinking about her landlord. She said,” Thank you but it’s not necessary I’ll be out soon enough. It’s just taking longer than usual to find a place to live. I’m sure it’ll be soon though.” She smiled as her date gave a satisfied comment about her food and asked about her Polla Alla Toscana. She nodded and gave a satisfied smile,” I dare say, it’s wonderful. It’s fabulous, thank you for recommending it to me. Yours does look pleasant though, I do say.” She looked over at her date’s plate before taking a bite of her meal. She said,” How about you though, what do you do when you’re not dealing with your racecars and racing? What is a typical day for you?” Tag;; Uranus | Outfit| Notes: :3| charlie |
