Enter The Shadows
A story was passed down in the packs as the pups grew older(see plot for story). Two sisters, Amethyst and Vevilla born of the Arctic hunters and the mountain scavengers took great interest in the story. When they were of age to be out in the world by themselves they each challenged the alpha of their favorite land. Amethyst won the battle for the Snowy plains and vevilla for the rocky mountain. The wolves have changed since the days of the five. Now they are dark like the land, which has now been renamed The land of the Shadows. So come Escape to the shadows.

Her paws sunk deep into the snowy ground up to her chest. The cool wind wisped across her maw and danced in her nasals. Trees hissed in the background as the pines shivered and shook. The weather was changing, changing fast. Crystal blue orbs gazed upon the snowy scenery and shimmered with the light around her. The lands were quiet today but deep in her gut she knew that tomorrow would be different.
Her forepaws lifted up out of the snow and her canvas danced forward around the scenery. Small talons scraped the top of the snow leaving marks where she had been. Tiny flakes of snow began to float down to the earth creating a new blanket, it also blanketed her. The snow blended in with her white coat making her puffier than she really was. She looked like one big giant marshmallow that could walk.
The storm was getting a bit worse so she padded her way to the secret hide away that all arctic wolves knew about, the one under the trees. Her paws carried her to the first pine tree and dug into the snow pushing it back to make an easier slope to climb down. When the opening was just so, she climbed down in. Under the tree were of course the large trunk, soft pine needles, and moss lots of it.
She laid her form down upon the softest moss and rested her maw on her front limbs. A brief sigh escaped her kissers and kissed the air with a push of moist breath. From the way the sky looked she knew that she might be there for a bit. Looking around the small safe area she could find nothing that would interest her for a long period of time, so she started to sing.
May he smile upon you May he wish you good day He is the one good savior He is here to stay Buried deep in the snow Down by where the river flow Arctic the mighty Rest in peace dear lord
When she grew tired of the old song of the arctic hunters she started to sing one she had made when she was a little pup when her father left with her sister.
Laughter, excitement, then comes climate Tag then run Bite then run Sister sister dont take that bone Or good old Barnoe Will eat you. (laughs)
She sang a few more that were songs of an old lover that broke her heart by fleeing the arctic with her first beta. The songs brought a sad look to her orbs as she paced around the brown trunk. When she finally grew tired of waiting for the snow to stop she peaked her little head out of the hole and sniffed the air. Then her head emerged, followed by her body. It looked as if it had only snowed for a little while. She shook her skull and then continued on her way back up to cave. Her skull lifted up into the air raising her maw high. Amethyst let her song dance across the open air to let her pack know that she was on her way. But not only her pack would hear her, she had forgotten about that.
