Britain is worried if a conflict breaks out between Hungary and The Ottoman Empire that war would quickly spread. I strongly advise both nations to resolve this peacefully. After the Seven Years War no one could possibly want to see more conflict.

The killings of our innocent traders is unacceptable, we will take this in a very harsh way if the Hungarians do not arrest the criminals and make sure in the future that this will not happen again. If arrest are not made, we will come and arrest them ourselves, through any means necessary.

Hungary is sorry it has been slow to react to this. The powerful land owners that are powerful enough to hire armies have been banned from the borders and their lan bought by the government. The main areas on the Hungarian side of the border ( about 10 kilometres from the border) is now state-owned and infantry now patrol many markets. We hope this will keep the traders coming across.

We are certainly relived that action has been taken and that Europe will remain peaceful.
