Twenty three years, one month, and seventeen days… That’s how long it took for the peace guaranteed by the Battle of Hogwarts to come crumbling down all around the Wizarding World. The takeover was swift and nearly flawless, the campaign for power lasting only mere weeks before the entire government was turned on upside down. The minister disappeared, the ministry itself crumbled, and the few faithful aurors left standing went into hiding or were killed one by one. Unfortunately, nobody knew entirely what had happened until it was already too late.

Muggleborns returned to Hogwarts this year only to be stripped of their school supplies and to see their wands broken in half before their eyes before being removed from their common rooms and sentenced to spend the year doing their rightful job helping the house elves keep the castle spotless. Halfbloods don’t know what to think, they aren’t praised and held above the rules like purebloods but at the same time they are still allowed to learn magic and attend classes. Purebloods are now treated like royalty under the reign of the Nex Auctor and his followers the Nex Viator. Everything the man says goes and anyone who speaks out against him ends up dead.

Where will you stand when the world as your ancestors knew it exists no longer?
