Dear Members of the Magical Community: As the third wizarding war wages on, many of us might feel a bit out of the loop in terms of what's happening, who's winning, and which
witches/wizards are keeping the fight going. Sometimes it's impossible to know who's fighting for which side or whether recent news events can be linked to something larger occur-
ring in the wizarding world. So, for your benefit, the folks here at Embrace News have compiled a written history to help you keep up to date on all the latest political events and details.

FIRST REPORTED FOLLOWERS MEETING

The early stages of what is now known as the Followers, a group led by Evan Rosier which dates back to his years at Hogwarts. Original members include himself, Larissa Lestrange, Ava Rookwood, Grace Andreas, and Trenity Malfoy. While the group is brought together by a shared interest to extinguish Muggle-born "filth" from society, their personal problems and immaturity make it difficult for them to seriously strategize.

SECOND REPORTED FOLLOWERS MEETING

Evan Rosier calls his second reported meeting for his Followers, whose numbers have begun growing since his first. In the meeting he asks his Followers to come forward and pledge their allegiance to the cause. He closes by providing them with a task - challenge an opponent to a duel and win without killing them, thus offering a glimpse into their talents and instilling a sense of fear into those involved.

GRADUATION CEREMONY (CLASS OF '50-'51)

The class of 2051 is ready to embark on their journey towards adulthood. Heading the ceremony are the Headmasters, Evelyn Marshall and Edric Kenton. The only one missing from the festivities? Evan Rosier. Once the ceremony is complete, Evan crashes the party and provides the world with a cryptic warning before hexing Evelyn Marshall.

DUMBLEDORE VS. ROSIER PROPHECY

Luca Dumbledore stumbles upon a prophecy in the Department of Mysteries bearing her name alongside Evan Rosier's. The prophecy warns that two causes (one good, one evil) will suffer at the hands of one another, foreshadowing the next great wizarding war.

FIRST REPORTED NEW ORDER MEETING

Having heard the prophecy regarding herself and Evan Rosier, Luca decides to take action. Gathering several close friends and contacts, Luca reinstates her grandfather's legacy - the Order of the Phoenix, now known as the New Order.

FOLLOWERS INITIATION CEREMONY

Evan Rosier summons his Followers to a meeting in order to officially induct them into the cause. The 'ceremony' includes carving a thin line into one's palm, thus providing them all with a connection to one another. Evan closes the meeting by discussing the emergence of an opposition - the New order - and divulging plans to crash the Masquerade Ball at Hogwarts.

CONVERSATIONS WITH THE PROPHET

Luca Dumbledore reaches out to alleged prophet, Libby Mace, who lives in the Spell Damage/Long-Term Care wing of St. Mungos. Luca is unable to get through to Libby or receive any answers, but promises to return back soon.

FIRST BATTLE (LOCATION: HOGWARTS)

The first full-on battle between Followers and New Order members. The Followers initiated an attack in the midst of a masquerade ball at Hogwarts. The first casualty was committed by Evan Rosier, himself.

ADELAIDE LESTRANGE KILLED!

Willow Lestrange receives the news that her sister, Adelaide, was killed by a group of Followers due to her close affiliation with an important Ministry official.

PLOT TO THWART DUMBLEDORE

Giana Mulciber discovers that two New Order members/Aurors from the Ministry had been undercover in her school, posing as professors, in order to pass information along to their superiors. When she learns this news, she confronts Trenton Malfoy and blackmails him into performing the Cruciatus Curse on Luca Dumbledore.

LUCA DUMBLEDORE CRUCIO'D

Giana gets impatient with Trenton and decides to push him along in his assignment. She hexes Willow Lestrange, erasing the girl's memory, and thus prompting Trenton to Crucio Luca.

GIANA MULCIBER CAPTURED!

Giana Mulciber let her guard down at a party and was, in turn, captured by her ex-fiancee and Ministry Official, Ian Weston. After being brought to Azkaban for questioning, Giana finds a way to not only get back at Ian, but also escape the situation and recover her freedom.

WILLOW LESTRANGE'S MEMORY WIPED CLEAN

The effects of the curse Giana Mulciber placed on Willow Lestrange are uncovered. She wiped Willow's memory clean, leaving no known trace or clues of how to reverse the spell.

DEATH OF EVELYN MARSHALL/ATTACK ON HOGWARTS

To the public, Evelyn Marshall was the victim of a strange, freak accident involving a rabid animal. To insiders, it became known that Marshall was killed by members of the Followers (presumably Giana Mulciber). As if that weren't enough, as Hogwarts mourns the loss of their Headmistress, Rosier launches another attack on the castle, this time in the form of fire.

DOUBLE AGENT CONFRONTATION

Evan confronts one of Luca Dumbledore's Double Agents, Paige Waters, a student at Purus Academy. He makes no direct threats against her, but alludes to the fact that he can use her to hurt people close to her, as well as other members of the New Order.

DUMBLEDORE & ROSIER: FACE TO FACE!

The first battle between the two leaders, one-on-one. Neither Rosier nor Dumbledore came out victorious, having evenly fought against one another before the fight dissipated.

PRUDENCE WATERS IS KILLED!

Evan interrogates Prudence Waters, one of his Followers, to retrieve information on her sister's whereabouts. When Prudence doesn't give him the answers he needs, he unleashes a Killing Curse on her.

RIDLEY DOLOHOV CAUGHT & TORTURED

Ridley Dolohov posed as her identical twin sister Isabelle at several Followers' meetings, enabling her to pass information back to Luca Dumbledore. When she was eventually caught, she was tortured to the point of near-death. Her life was only spared to serve as a warning to any other traitors or Double Agents attempting to fly under the radar.

DEATH OF LARISSA LESTRANGE

In an attack against the New Order, the Followers were thwarted by a traitor. The entire mission was a set-up and several Followers were injured severely. The one casualty that resulted from the failed mission was Larissa Lestrange, one of the original Followers and on/off girlfriend of Evan Rosier.
