ATTITUDE. Back in Durmstrang, Adrien was under a lot of pressure to succeed. His father was the then Chief Warlock of the French Wizengamot. His mother ran several charity organizations. He was literally under the scrutiny of everybody and anybody from the moment he first set foot in school. With the eyes of so many on him, Adrien could have done two things. He could choked on the pressure or he could have flourished; luckily for him, it was the latter.
GRADES. Excellent. Adrien graduated at the top of his class. He put a ridiculous amount of effort into his academics and was always guaranteed perfect every potion, spell, or lesson taught to him.
EMPLOYMENT. Adrien is currently an advisor to the French Minister of Magic, Dante Bellerose. He may be young, but he's got enough political expertise that he's now an integral part of the Minister's office.
PREVIOUS EMPLOYMENT. After graduating from Durmstrang, Adrien was offered an internship in the French Minister's Office. Just one year after he accepted, Dante Bellerose came into office. He wasted no time getting to know the man and made such an impression that he was promoted to Junior Undersecretary within months. Now, he's one of Dante's most trusted advisors. He appreciates that the Minister doesn't just see a young, idealistic boy when looking at him, but a man with valuable thoughts, opinions, and ideas.

EYE DETAILS. He has a set of twinkling blue eyes. They usually generate a lot of attention, because of the way they contrast with his hair.
HAIR DETAILS. Adrien has a head of dark hair. In some lightenings, it can appear brown. In others, it comes across jet black. He usually keeps it short and neat, since looking clean cut is all apart of the job description.
HEIGHT / WEIGHT He stands at 5'10" and weighs around 165 llbs.
BUILD. Thanks to hardcore work out regimen, Adrien is in excellent physical shape. Not only is he toned, but he's lean and all muscle. It's more than looking good, it's living a healthy lifestyle.
STYLE. As far as clothing goes, Adrien is a rather pretentious dresser. At work, he has to wear a dress shirt and tie, but even when he's off the clock, he has trouble dressing down. He pretty much lives in button ups.

BOGGART. Adrien's biggest fear is disappointing his parents. They left him big shoes to fill and he sometimes worries that nothing he does will ever measure up to their own accomplishments.
ERISED. He'll never admit it to anyone, but Adrien's deepest desire is to one day fall in love. These days, he always feels like he has to prove something to someone. He can't express just how much he'd like to find someone he can just be himself around.
PATRONUS. Adrien's patronus is a horse. Not only is he honest and hardworking, but as noble as it gets.
DEMENTOR. Before he was born, his parents had another son, Alexandre. He died from a mysterious disease when he was just four years old. Years later, they had Adrien, and he grew up knowing he had a big brother that had passed away. However, one day, when he was seven, he walked in on his mother crying over an old picture of Alexandre. Deep down, he knew it was because Alexandre had been her son too, but until that moment, he'd never felt like he wasn't enough for his parents.

VERITASERUM. 1. Nobody who's ever met Adrien Fournier would believe it, but he sort of has an alcohol problem. Back in Durmstrang, he used whiskey, scotch, vodka, rum...you name it to help alleviate some of stress and pressure of his day-to-day life. It got so bad that his friends had to take him to the hospital wing one day in his seventh year because he'd had so much alcohol in his system. Before that point, Adrien didn't think he had a problem, but after that, he knew he needed to lay off the alcohol. It's a constant struggle. He can't count the number of times his colleagues or Dante pop out wine to toast some success or someone pours him a drink at a business dinner. He'll drink it to save face and he's good at pretending it's nothing. However, every time, Adrien literally has to fight the urge to drink the entire bottle.
2. He loves his job, but he wishes he had more of a life outside of it. Most of his school friends are still in Bulgaria. He can't remember the last time he had a girlfriend or sex life. He literally doesn't have anyone to help him relax after a long day at the office. It's a very lonely feeling to have no one and he feels like that'll probably always be the case.
3. He's pretty sure Jolie Bellerose is the most beautiful woman he's ever set eyes own. He literally has to do everything in his power to keep himself from coming off as a tongue-tied mess everytime Dante brings her to some speech or event.
4. He has no interest in ever running for political office. Since he's done so well under Dante, his family and even colleagues all think he might one day be interested in it. However, Adrien has always been more of a behind the scenes guy than an upfront one. He doesn't really like attention or glamor that comes along with being a politician. All he carers about is France and furthering and protecting the well being of it's people. He'd be happy being an advisor for the rest of his life, although he knows his parents wouldn't be,

At Durmstrang, he was the student that there was as much to learn from as there was to teach. At the office, he might be Dante Bellerose's youngest advisor, but he's also his most trusted advisor as well. If there's one important thing to know about Adrien Fournier, it's that he's simply wise behind his years. He can't count the number times people have underestimated him because of his youth. He can't count the number of times people have snubbed him or brushed him off. However, Adrien is living proof that there is no correlation between age and intelligence. He's gone through life making up for what he lacks in experience with knowledge and that's been enough to get him further politically than most men get in their lifetime. However, Adrien's scary brilliance was not just a needle in a haystack sort of thing. He's a Fournier, the son of two of greatest witches and wizards France has seen in the last one hundred years. Those who don't know that his father was Chief Warlock of the Wizengamot for over a decade know his mother who's worldwide initiatives have helped thousands of people across the globe. Adrien Fournier was born to two incredibly accomplished individuals and even as a child felt the pressure to follow in their footsteps. Considering how talented he is, one would think he's made them proud. However, they always seem to expect bigger and better things out of him. Most people don't understand how a boy so accomplished struggles with the fear of never being good enough. Most people would be shocked to hear about his alcohol problem or his stress smoking or occasional gambling tendencies. However, most people don't understand the pressures of being a Fournier.
However, there's more to Adrien than his intellect and the stress he feels on a day-to-day basis. First of all, he's an extremely honorable man. He might have the ear of the Minister of Magic, but he's not one of those corrupt politicians who's only mission in life is to serve himself. Growing up with his father as Chief Warlock, Adrien's sense of justice and adoration of his country is second to nothing. He makes sure people know that he doesn't work with Dante Bellerose to further himself or anyone else, but because he truly believe he's what's best for the country. Adrien is simply an extremely passionate man. He doesn't invest himself in anything unless he fully believes in it. That doesn't just go for politics, but romance, sex, whatever. As a French man, his entire heart is in whatever he does, and it's extremely hard for him to do anything half way or half assed. He can pretend to do it, but usually for Adrien, it's always all or nothing. Needless to say, he's got a good head on his shoulder. He has a moral compass that has led him through life without getting him into any serious trouble along the way and he's extremely loyal to the people he loves. Sure, Adrien's never naturally been an overly extroverted person. He's always been more on the reserved side, a little introverted at times, but he does have a lot of people he cares about in his life. Everyone from Dante Bellerose to his parents, he would literally give the shirt off his back for if needed. He's the kind of guy people can overlook or write off at times, but he's definitely as competent, trustworthy, and reliable as it gets.
Nobody is all good, though. Adrien has some severe flaws. First of all, he's never really had much going on for him in his life outside of his schoolwork and now job. He would like to settle down someday, but he's never really found a woman he's connected with or one that's noticed him back. Needless to say, he battles some severe loneliness problems. He's good at pushing it away. He's good at not talking about it or letting onto it with colleagues, friends, or family. However, he's always hated coming home to an empty house. He knows it's silly, but just really wants a companion to be himself around,and these days feels like he would do anything to fill that void in his life. In addition to that, he's very idealistic, naive, and impressionable. Adrien might be more intelligent than most everyone in the world. He might have proved that young people can take the world like a storm, but at the same time, he's only twenty-two. He comes across and acts a lot more mature than he really is, but deep down, he's still an incredibly young man. He has those fears that he's not good enough for parents. He feels the loneliness that comes along with not really connecting with anyone around him. He still loves at the world and politics through young eyes and can't help but hope for the best in people he really shouldn't expect anything from. He's impressionable and can oftentimes get swept up in ideas of an ideal country or a way of things. He knows it's not necessarily a good thing, but sometimes its just hard to act older than you really are when you're too young to have lived.

CURRENT RESIDENCE. Adrien lives in villa in the French countryside. It was the present his parents gave him when he graduated from Durmstrang. He's attempted to pay them back since he's now been making his own money, but they've yet to accept a dime from him.

WEALTH STATUS. Rich. Adrien was born into one of the wealthiest families in all of France. Needless to say, he has a rather hefty trust fund in his name. Dante also pays him extremely well, so the only money problems he has in an overabundance of it.
OVERALL HISTORY. Adrien is an only child. However, he was not the first child born to Gabriel and Constance Fournier. Ten years before he was born, they had a son, Alexandre. He was the apple of their eyes and the only child they ever planned on having. They had his entire life sketched out before he could even learn to talk. He would marry into a good family. He would carry on Gabriel's legacy. He would be the son any parent would ask for. However, fate got in the way of the young parents' plans. Alexandre was four years old when he died. It came out of nowhere. He'd never had any health problems. He'd never had any concerning visits with healers. However, one night, he got incredibly sick, and nobody in the hospital knew how to help him. Gabriel and Constance were devastated when they lost him. For several years, their marriage was extremely strained. They continued to love and support each other, but they were withdrawn, and were barely ever present even when they were carrying on a conversation. After Alexandre's death, they threw themselves in their careers more. Gabriel began working with way up the Ministry. Meanwhile, Constance got involved in charities, and ended up starting several organizations (that would one day prove to change thousands of life) in her baby boy, Alexandre Fournier's name. Losing Alexandre was the hardest thing either of them had to do, but they eventually had no choice but to attempt to move on with their lives.
Slowly, they fell in love all over again. They discussed having another child, but neither of them were really ready until ten years later when Constance accidently got pregnant for a second time. At first, they were afraid. They both wanted to be parents again, but they couldn't help but wonder how they would ever survive if they fell in love with another child, and that one got ripped away from them too. However, that never happened. Adrien Taegan Fournier was born on August 27th, 2032, and he has always been the picture of perfect health. From the very beginning, he was the center of their world. He would never replace Alexandre in their hearts, but there was another spot in their completely devoted to him. As a child, Adrien was a quiet boy. He didn't get into much trouble. He didn't really hang out with kids in his neighborhood or seek out people his own age. Instead, he latched onto his parents. Since his father was working more times than not, he spent a lot of time with his mother, and was very much a mother's boy. However, both Gabriel and Constance had very active roles in his childhood. They didn't wait until he started school to get him educated. Constance read him classic pieces of French literature, like The Hunchback of Notre Dame or Les Miserables as a toddler. As he grew up, they turned all of their conversations into lessons of sort. They wanted their son to be unbeatable in terms of brains and intellect, and thats what they got with Adrien. Sure, there have been some unfavorable consequences to their tendency to push their son. Adrien's struggled a lot with feeling good enough and living up to their expectations. He's also had problems really connecting with people his own age. However, even if he always doubts it, Gabriel and Constance love their son more than anything. As long as he's healthy and happy, they would be perfectly fine with however he chose to live his life. They lost one son; they would never do anything to lose their other one. Unfortunately, they don't always tell Adrien that enough.
