We are a local group of caring citizens working to help retire Tembo and Sunda to The Elephant Sanctuary in Hohenwald, Tennessee. Some of us are part of Animal Outreach of Kansas, an all-volunteer, 501©3 non-profit group. Others are folks who simply love elephants and want to do everything they can to help Tembo & Sunda retire at a beautiful sanctuary and end their decades of boredom and suffering in an unnatural environment at the Topeka Zoo.
