im really unsure what to do because this is a rare problem that i cant find answers for anywhere else.

and i want answers or a solution so i chose to post this here and see if anyone can suggest a fix to this problem.

so i got a xbox 360 a few days ago. and im having a display issue with all the games.

the text for mission briefings or just in general is hard to read and at times impossible to read.

and then i noticed some of the load screens and the text on there is practically off the screen.

so i assume some kind of display issue is the problem.

and my tv is a few years old at this point.

so is there some kind of setting or something i can apply or do i have to face facts that my tv is too old and needs replacing?

Aren't there settings you can change on the 360's menu screen ? As in what kind of tv you're using, HD/LCD/CRT...

Because Dead Rising has been known to have that problem. It's with the game, and I don't think Capcom ever put out an update for it. As for Mass Effect and Crackdown, I never had that problem, so I don't know.

hmm so it most likley is my tv then.

because my tv is rather old and isnt any name brand thing i won it at a chruch raffle so it is getting on in years. i guess ill have to replace it.

because it does take some fun out the games when i cant read alot of the text.

cause the 360 does have settings but they dont do shit

and yeah it is my tv its about 7 or 6 years old.

The early Capcom games were major bitches when it came to font size. I had to play the damn game in a 50+ inch flat screen before I could read the dialogue without squinting two inches from the screen.
