" Well I have paid for a strangers meal, have not killed you yet, and am atleast sitting down. For me that is somthing I usually dont do." And for once Draak put his dagger away, keeping it in reach however as was customary from him " As you were saying?"

Eildrimme let out a silent sigh, he saw no reason to give this rude individual secret druidic knowledge, but nor did he want to argue, and not needing to find a way to compensate for the meal was a notable plus.

"In short, a Druid's magic lets them bind themselves to an animal, so they may shift between it and their own forms. For Druids that ignore tradition, or do not feel the same bond to nature as that of a regular Druid, the line between man and beast is not so clearly defined, and as such they can shift into forms in between, but at the price that they will, over the course of a great many years, take on the features of their animal form, exposing their 'corruption'. As you have probably guessed, I chose the form of a black wyrmling, or drake in the human tongue."

Eildrimme laughed at the mountain comment. "I do as I wish, and tonight I wish to visit civilization, and eat something that I didn't hunt, or cook over a fire."

Eildrimme breathed deep and then looked around some more. "But alas," he said in a distant voice, "it seems I'm not missing much. Society has forsaken me as a monster, yet I believe, in truth, it is society that is the monster which should be forsaken. Perhaps I will leave earlier then I expected."

With her order complete,Arya had left with a lsight nervous feeling in her stomach which disappeared shortly after she turned from the odd customers she was serving. She quickly made her way to the kitchen to place her order when she bumped into on of the cooks at the door.

'My goodness Arya, do watch where you're going.' The red headed cook said quietly.

'My apologies, it's just i've had the great opportunity to serve the most questionable guests i've ever come across!' She said.

The cook cocked an eye brow and motioned her to continue.

'I'm not sure how, but one wants to kill the other, and the one won't remove his hood. It's strange, but they somehow feel familiar. I can't quite place the feeling, i'm not sure what it means. Right now though i just wish my shift would end.' By feeling she meant a familiar sense of samness. But she was not sure how they could possibly be anything like her so she place her order with the cook and returned to the tavern bar to pour the drinks.

Once the meal was complete she trayed the drinks and made her way back to the table in the corner, which now seemed slightly darker, but she did not care. The guests in the tavern had all decided to sit at the bar or retire for the night, meaning only a few tables were now filled and the talking was now a dull murmer of voices, a slight hum around the room.

She appraoched the table calmly and placed the salad before thehooded guest. 'Your salad and wine sir, and your ale.' She placed the ale mug before the man who had held the knief to the others neck. They now appeared to be in friendly conversation, leading her to assume they were at least trying to be civil.

She glanced at the clock on the wall and smiled. She had reached her first break of the night, and with a sigh she sat on the bench against the wall next to the hooded guest. The benches still seemed full, and ths was the only free spot. She placed a hand on her brow and leaned against the wall behind her. These guests were interesting, so she thought she might have an interesting break if she sat near to them.

The door opened with another traveller who went imeadiatly to the bar, but with him came a large gust of wind that burst through the room and made the fire light flicker. The wind was so string that the cloaks of most guests flew out behind them and Arya's hair blew out behind her against the wall revieling her slightly pointed ears. Quickly she moved to cover them with her hair again.

Draak gazes at this pretty and young serving girl as she gets their food and ale, and then brings it back to the table. He studies her as she places the food and ale on the table and then leans on the table while glancing at the clock. He is about to open his mouth to question her when the door opens and a gust of wind blows her hair away from her ears. The ears were pointed, ELVEN!

In one fluid movement he shealths his dagger and grabs onto the serving girls arm, then brings her down to sit next to him, while also quietly saying this " An elf in a human town, what are the odds? But an elf serving girl in a human town? My my, but what a fine serving girl you are."

"Thank you." Eildrimme said to the waitress, then took a bite of his salad. As he took a sip of his wine, Draak pulled Arya into a seat at their table.
"Well isn't this quite the family reunion?" and then looking at Draak directly said, "Even a Dwarf has more manners then you. Show some more decency around me or I'll show you the meaning of Elven discipline."

Eildrimme wasn't usually one to threaten strangers, but this man was managing to both ruin his evening and be shamefully disrespectful, and Eildrimme figured a little humility could do this one good.

Arya gasped as Draak grasped her firmly by the arm and whispered in her ear, but what he said to her confused her more then threatened. Her eyes widened in shock as she was firmly sat at their table and she widley looked between the two guests she had been serving. None of what they said made any sence to her now.

'But i -- ' she stuttered. 'I don't know what you mean? I don't understand. I'm no elf, i've lived here as long as i can remember, and my father is human. How could you say that i'm an elf, maybe my ears are deformed or something, did that ever occur to you?" She asked, offended, and confussed that they could even think of accusing her of such a thing in a town with forbidden laws on elves. She was now wishing the door had never been opened, or that she hadn't taken her break so soon and so close to these abnormal guests.
