One of the most prominent builings in Galent, and visible from nearly any point in that sprawling metropolis, the Crimson Hippodrome has become a symbol of the darker side of combat. Under the facade of glory and the honourable roles of engagement, chivalrous conduct and trials of strength, battle is a primal, barbarous, gory thing; for the bloodthirsty and depraved. It is for this aspect of battle that the masses throng to Galent.

The Hippodrome is an massive, sprawling, ovoid structure nearly three miles in circumference, and twenty-four stories high. Formatted as an arena, with a monstrously large combat arena at the bottom, it can hold well over 10,000 people in its' seating. However, the arena itself, while the main attraction, is by no means the only one. While the masses feed their addiction to wholesale bloodshed above, the myriad smaller, private, or even hidden, chambers contain more discreet connections: duels, collusions, business deals.... assasinations.
