We have many things that we allow on the site, however, there is always controversy over them, particularly the vampires and werewolves. Below, there will be an explanation of many types of creatures, hopefully to clarify any questions you may have about them.

- - VAMPIRES
..... Vampires are weak against sunlight - not crosses and holy waters. After all, some vampires could have been a Christian at some point, and so, holy presences have no effect on them. Garlic is only sometimes agitating, and otherwise, is ineffective.

..... A vampire can only be created through the turning process. You cannot be born a vampire.

..... Vampires' fangs are retractable.

..... A vampire must be invited into a human's household before he or she can come in, but only has to be invited once.

..... Some, but not all, vampires can use glamour and flight. All vampires have heightened senses. Drinking their blood also heightens the consumer's senses and libido.

..... Vampires do not have reflections.


- - WEREWOLVES
..... Werewolves only turn at the full moon, not at will.

..... Werewolves are vulnerable to silver.

..... Becoming a werewolf can be hereditary, or it can be a result of a bite from another werewolf.


- - SORCERERS/WITCHES
..... Sorcery covers many different kinds of magic: control of elements, necromancy, divination, telepathy, telekinesis, control of empathy, the mind, blood magic, black magic, and many others.


- - DEMONS
..... Demons cover all kinds of breeds. Succubi/incubi (use sexual acts to drain life energy or souls), hellhounds (some are shifters), furies (demons with wings, though some incubi have them), Maenads, archdemons, etc. Abilities may always vary, but there is no such thing as a "good" demon.


- - SHAPESHIFTERS
..... Shapeshifters can transform into anything living creature they want, save for another human being. Shifters usually have a preferred image (like a sheep dog), depending on what he feels a connection to or feels resembles him.

..... Larger animals are usually more difficult to shift into, and just because they can take the shape doesn't always mean they can take on all of the attributes. Some shifters have a hard time flying if they shift into a bird. Others find difficulty in swimming when they change into a fish.

..... Shifters have heightened senses.

..... Some don't shift for the first time until their teens. When they first start, especially near the full moon, they may have difficulty controlling some animalistic behaviors. Some bark, growl, and some have been known to shapeshift when moods get critically high.
