WELCOME
Welcome to Dream On, an Inception
inspired RPG. The events of the film
have come and gone, and now, Cobb's
old team is trying to pick up the pieces.
Dream extraction is more prevalent
than ever... though far more illegal.
Is it worth the risk?

This board contains a 350 word
count and is rated M for Mature.

SETTING
We find ourselves in New York City. Though it used to be the mecca for struggling
artists and starry-eyed college
students, it is now overrun by
illegal dreamers.

The year is 2011. It is currently Summer,
and temperatures are steadily rising.

+ POLICE

The police are your run of the mill local police. They deal mainly with theft, murder, any non-dream related crimes. Occasionally, a dream-sharing crime will pop up on their radar and they'll go to take care of it. More likely than not, however, the DEU has usually gotten there first. Nonetheless, it's not usual for the cops to bring in someone engaged in illegal dream sharing on their own, anyone peddling the drug, "petty" dream crimes.

+ PROFESSIONALS

The professionals are all members of the DEU (more information about the DEU in the TERMINOLOGY). They consist of teams of extractors who work for the government to hunt down those committing crimes of extraction and inception. They have a higher authority over the local police.

+ ROGUES

The rogues consist of any one illegally involved in dream crimes. Whether you're part of a team, working alone, working for a company, or doing freelance, you're involved in the illegal dream-sharing network and therefore classified as a "rogue".

+ CITIZENS

Citizens fall under the big umbrella of "everyone else". They're more or less the people who try not to get their hands dirty with dream sharing. They may have been involved in dream sharing, either tried it for fun or hired someone to do it for them, but they generally don't make a career out of extraction or inception.
