have come and gone, and now, Cobb's
old team is trying to pick up the pieces.
Dream extraction is more prevalent
than ever... though far more illegal.
Is it worth the risk?

SETTING
We find ourselves in New York City. Though it used to be the mecca for struggling
artists and starry-eyed college
students, it is now overrun by
illegal dreamers.
The year is 2011. It is currently Summer,
and temperatures are steadily rising.

Uptown
Don't go uptown unless you're willing to spend more than a pretty penny. This is were you take that "that special date", see a Broadway show, or maybe buy a dress worth its weight in gold. It's also home to all the high end business, some of which have taken a "special interest" in extraction and inception. But tread carefully here...the DEU command center is tucked away discreetly under the camouflage of a simple office building inside this corruption-addled part of the city.

Midtown
This is where the less savory New Yorkers linger after they close their eyes. Down by the meatpacking district, rundown warehouses have been transformed as makeshift rooms for illegal dreamers to hook in. As the city that never sleeps, there are also many happening bars and hip restaurants down this way.

Downtown
Come Monday, most poor, corporate souls line up by the subways to ship themselves downtown. Most business are located here, as well as the headquarters for the police station. Extractors be warned, and wear your best fake smile to blend in with the crowd.

China
The new epicenter for shared dreaming. China produces the most effective drugs for sedation, and because they are marketed as only a "sleep aid," the drugs have gone under the radar, for now. They're illegal in the United States, but many have been known to smuggle the products in.
