Anne stepped out onto the path to her next destination. She smiled softly as she let out Sakura. "Hey!" She said sweetly to her new pokemon. "How about we work together and become strong?" She held out her arms to carry Sakura if the small grass pokemon so wanted to be carried.

Cherubi's are not exactly fast on their feet. So carrying them may be a good idea.

Sakura doesn't mind being carried. Stops it from getting cold! Although it's not quite as good as dangling from a tree, being carried gets second place!

Sakura: You mean you get stronger and I'm the one that helps you get to that position.... Man... I should've listened to Mom and took up politics...

But that's another story. Now, on with the encounters. And the first one is a dog. It has an electrifying personality. Literally!

Electrike: Are you going to treat me like a black cat?

Anne blinked seeing the electric dog pokemon. She then smiled brightly. "How cute!" She said happily. She then looked to Sakura. "Do you want to battle or no?" She was going to give her pokemon the choice of battling.

Sakura: Would you sulk if I said no?

- One evil glare later -

Sakura: Okay, okay, I'm going!

Sakura plops down to the ground, and is ready with a battle command... might need to be quick about it. Wild Pokemon are not exactly known for having a lot of patience. At least not a lot of them anyway. However, this one is showing a little patience. Physically... not verbally...

Electrike: .... How long does it take to pick a Pokemon to battle me?

"Okay then Sakura, try using tackle attack!" Anne said thinking quickly about what Sakura might be able to do.

Sakura moves in that sluggish way of someone who prefers to live on trees. Yet somehow it gets a Tackle into the mix. Simple, normal, okay. Nothing more to be said! Electrike conjures up a brief amount of electricity, enough to send a shiver down Sakura's spine. If it has one that is.... Sakura is Paralyzed via Thunder Wave!

Electrike: Shaking like that suits you!
