Wandering Souls, [Open] [Mod Needed]

Wake up these two words buzzed in Soul's head, he ignored the words but they continued to bounce in his. WAKE UP! Soul opened his eyes, only to find a small dinosaur creature looking at him. "Finally!" The creature started to jump up and down, Soul noticed that it was blue with a white belly and part of it's face was white too. The small creature had red eyes, big ears and a long tail, it smiled at Soul.

"Who.. What are you?" Soul blinked at the creature, it blinked back.

"I'm DemiVeemon! Your Digimon!"

"Digimen?"

"Digimon! D - I - G - I - M - O - N!" DemiVeemon jumped off Soul and walked around, Soul sat up and looked around. He was near the base of a tall moutain, the sky was blue and there wasn't a cloud in the sky, the sun beamed down on Soul. "Ahem..." Soul looked at DemiVeemon.

"What?"

"I need to tell you about the Digital World!" Soul continued to stare at DemiVeemon, a confused look was on his face. DemiVeemon sighed, he cleared his throat and started to speak. "The Digital World is a place where Digimon live, it is not known by that many humans. Many different types of Digimon inhabit the Digital World, all of them live in different areas. This area here is the Black Mountain Range, right now we are near the base, this is where we will start our journey together! The device in your hand is called a D-Terminal..." Soul looked at his right hand, a very small 'laptop' was sitting in his palm. Soul got up and started walking, DemiVeemon followed him.

Several digimon were scurrying about unseen around the newly aquainted digimon and partner. Several were furry Bearmon, whispering and speaking in hushed undertones while others were large Grizzlymon who glared intently at the digidestined and his partner. One, a much more grizzled Grizzlymon whose fur was starting to silver, was speaking to another of the Grizzlymon.

"It seems as though they are new to this world..." the older Grizzlymon whispered, bobbing his head.

"Yes, but what should we do about them?" the younger, more impatient Grizzlymon urged, his glance darting between the elder and the two farther away. The older grizzly didn't reply. "What? Fight? Flee? Leave them alone? Talk? What?!"

The elder smiled at the brash young warrior. "Heh, it's just that you're so impatient, young one. You want answers now, but most of the time, you'll have to wait." he said, looking at the two across the expanse. They were on the move now, going to wherever they wanted. The silver Grizzlymon looked to a Bearmon that was watching anxiously. "Young one, you go speak to them. Ask them a few questions, but do not frighten them." the older bear urged, and the Bearmon scurried off at his request.

It took a little while for the Bearmon to reach the others and, as he did, he stood up and touched his cap in respect. "Hey there." he said, a broad smile on his bearish features. "What're you doin' up here?"

"Err... Hi" Soul looked at the Bearmon "I'm Soul, and this is..." Soul looked at DemiVeemon.

"Storm, call me Storm!"

"Yes, very well..." Soul looked at the Bearmon again "This is Storm, my err... Digimon! I just got here and I was just wandering around with Storm then you guys came... Mind telling me who they are, Storm?"

"This fellow is a Bearmon!" Storm smiled at the Bearmon, Soul also smiled at the Bearmon.

"Okay then... Well it's nice to meet you Bearmon..." Soul said "Is there anything I can help you with?"

"Uhm..." the Bearmon mused, looking quickly over to some bushes a way off before he suddenly remembered what he was supposed to do. "Oh, right! You're a tamer right?" he asked. The question needed no answer, the person obviously was because he had a partner. "Well, there's been some trouble 'round these parts lately. My family has had a few fueds with a tribe of Ryuudamon down south of here and, truely, we need help."

"Sure!" Soul said quickly, he didn't know why he said sure so quickly, he knew he was brave and kind but he just said he'd help fight some monsters! "So, where are these Ryuudamon?" Storm's smile grew bigger, the small Digimon jumped onto Soul's head.

"Uhmm..." the Bearmon mused, his glance drifting over to the mass of bushes that he had been looking at previously. He mouthed something, as if talking without actually making sounds come from his mouth, and nodded. He looked back to you. "They have an encampment down south of here, like I said." the Bearmon said, pointing quickly to the direction that he guessed was south. "But before we can go tackle 'em, we have to go meet the rest of my Tribe. OK?"

The brown-furred digimon began to walk foward on his two hind legs, adjusting his cap to a more comfortable position on his head. He turned his head over his shoulder after a few paces toward the bushes that he had been 'talking' to. "Comin'?" he called.

Vanessa stood on some soft hearth of ground, that belonged to the Black Mountain Range. They ground a strange fill to it, but it seemed to give her a sense of wholeness. Never in her life had she felt so whole, for five years now she had hidden herself in the shadows of the digital world. Today would be the day that she would change that.

Roses swirled up beside Vanessa, to any other person this would be totally creppy or awe-inspiring. She knew what it was, the elegance of the roses, would bring forth he digimon, Renamon.

Renamon had pretty much been her only friend in the digital world. It seemed as if they were the most perfect match in the world. There emotions were the same, there attitudes were the same, and the probally wouldn't be able to survive without each other. As Renamons body formed beside Vanessa, she caught a glimpse of a boy across the forest. "Renamon, what do you think should we try and make friends?" she said as she looked at her dear friend.

Renamon stood quite for a couple seconds, "I do not know, this is where your story begins, and it will only begin, once you decide you are ready." she said as Vanessa nodded, and decided to wait for a bit, and just watch the boy.

Vanessa breathed in a deep breath of air, she couldn't and she wouldn't do it. She shook her head no to Renamon, there would be no way she could strike up converstation with the boy, she turned as she pushed her soft red hair out of her face.

"Lets go, we don't belong here yet." she said as Renamon nodded, and fluffed out her golden fur.

"I agree we just can't rush into anything." said the sacred fox, as she did a twist and rustled away in a rose tornado. Vanessa watched her digimon fade away, she could still not get over how she did her little magic tricks.

Vanessa walked through the deep forest, and left the area and headed to start her own adventure.
