(traveled to The barren Wasteland)

"So tired..." Lexi said falling to her knees, then to the ground.
"me too" Conomon fell over faceing away from her partner.
Lexi and Conomon made a groaning sound together. Seconds later a third groan from a questionable location was made.
Still laying on the ground, in a panicked voice lexi said "Conomon?"
"...yeah?" The small digimon said in an equally scared vioce.
"That... wasn't you, was it?"
"...nope..."
"I.. Thought so"
Suddenly they heard the noise again... but this time Lexi jumped up onto her feet and Conomon Jumped into her arms. Lexi squeezed the jelly type digimon as they heard it for a third time.

The sand next to them shook as a figure stood up, misplacing a lot of sand. It was a small rat creature that yawned and shook off the sand with a violent shake. "RAWR!" It declared. "I'm hungry..." It burped with a cute squeak and fell on its butt. "Oh..."

The creature was a Chuumon. This one wore a pair of aviator goggles, shaded in a tint of sky blue. "HOWDY! I'm sure glad to see you... you're a human, right?"

The thing in her pocket started to beep as she and cocomon stared at the creature. The tamer took it out and scanned through the info on the creature, just enough to catch it's name.

"Hello!" The IT digimon said jumping out of her tamers arms.
"Hi? Um..Chuumon?... er..Do you need help or~~ wait!! You know what I am?!" She asked even though she obviously knew that answer. "So does that mean you know where other humans are!?!?!" She said bright eyed as she grasped her hands together.

"Yes, many humans!" He squealed in delight, pleased that he had made Lexi so happy. "Though.. most of them aren't so nice to poor ol' Squeaker."

"This is probably 'cause I 'borrrow' their sparkly devices!" Squeaker exclaimed proudly. "Me not know where a human is right now, per se, but I could find out if you get me some food!"

Cocomon looked at the chuumon warying. Not sure If they should totally trust him. But with no other digimon they met that knew of humans in the area, she let the feeling pass.

"You will!!" Lexi said excited! "Thank You!... Oh, yeah! Food.... Um let's see..." Lexi put a hand in her pocket and pulled out a small plastic container. "It's only a little, but it's all be got. Beef chow mein, leftovers." She explained as she opened the top and handed it to the little Chuumon. "Sorry, erm, no fork..."

"Sparkly Devices??" Cocomon asked Squeaker at eye level, as he held the food. "What do you mean sparkly devices??"

((Well... here goes nothing!))

"CHUUU!!!" cried Squeaker, leaping straight at the food. He swallowed it in big gulps, not even bothering to chew. When he had finished, he laid back with a burp.

"That feels so good! Me no feel full for long time!" He eyed Lexi's pocket slyly. "Any more for li'l old Squeaker? Or else Squeaker might forget!"

"erm..." Lexi dug through her pocket and turned it inside out, then did the same to the other pocket. "oh... no, I'm very sorry, Squeker... that's all we had...WAIT!" She suddenly remembered she had a third pocket which held her digivice. She looked through it and only pulled out that. "no.. nevermind..." she said disappointed.

"That's was well enough food." Cocomon said a bit coldly, still not whole heartily trusting the digimon even though her tamer did. "Now," she said a bit nicer "Where are the other humans?... and what about those 'sparkly devices'?"

Squeaker narrowed his eyes as he noticed the digivice in Lexi's hand. He tossedhis head indifferently.

"Sorry then human female! Squeaker forgot what it was he was going to tell you." he yawned, still keeping one eye on Lexi''s pockets. He turned to go.

"wh-what?!?!" Lexi said as she fell to her knees. Her digivice rolled to the side of her as she used her hands to ball into fists. Sulkingly she thought, {That... That jerk!}

Cocomon immidiatly responded to this act of disrespect. She hopped right infront of him. "Listen up, bub! I suggest you tell Lexi were you've seen the other humans." She threatened.

She looked up from where she knelt. "Cocomon?" She whispered, wondering what she was doing.

Suddenly, Squeaker spun around and did a forward roll. Snatching up the Digivice, he ran for it, cackling like a maniac.

"Yes! Squeaker got another one! Stupid human female!"

He vanished in a cloud of dust.

Lexi looked up and saw the trail of dust left by the fleeing Chuumon.
"WWWWHHHHHAAAATTTT!!!!!" Her and her digimon screamed at the same time.
Lexi stood up in disbelief, in a fiery "OH HECK NO!!"
"L-lexi?" Cocomon a bit startled, she never seened her tamer this bad.
"Come on Cocomon!!" She said picking up her digimon and started to run after the little Squeaker. "Come back here!!!" She yelled angrily at him as she was gaining speed.

But with one last cackle, the speedy rodent disappeared into a hole as small as he was, large enough only for him. The minute he was inside, he turned his back on them and did something that should be reserved for the toilet, and covered up the hole with his own... er... waste.
