For much of time, there was darkness. Then, out of the dark came a mote of light. The light mote grew, absorbing the darkness around it to become larger. The dark motes fled, and came back to attack the light, becoming larger themselves. Eventually there was only two beings left. The light, which called itself Reinu, and the dark, which called itself Ganoz. The war lasted long, using fighters of the seven elements. Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Wood, Metal, and Lightning. All were divided amongst the two, Reinu taking the legions of Fire, Metal, and Lightning, Ganoz taking Wind, Earth, and Wood. Both fought to control Water, but the legions of Water went into hiding whenever the long arm of Ganoz or Reinu reached out to sway them.

Sensing that neither would get the forces of Water, they went to war. It was a long and blood-thirsty war, heavy casualties occurring on both sides. Eventually the only left where the Water Legions, Ganoz, and Reinu. Reinu and Ganoz clashed in an epic battle, where they found a stalemate, neither getting the upper hand. Eventually, they called a cease fire, and went to peace. In time, the elements returned, but not in their full power. Then, thousands of years later, when the hostilities between Ganoz and Reinu were forgotten, after the eighth and ninth elements were introduced, Light and Darkness, an Abyss broke open. The Abyss sucked in the people of the elements, putting Wraiths in their places. People fought the Wraiths, though they can still be found. Eventually, they put a seal over the Abyss, preventing it from creating more Wraiths. But, they underestimated the Abyssal power. The seal is slowly breaking, the Wraiths building up. It will take an army of mages to repair the seal. Will you be one of them?
