Hello everyone

As a lot of you have already noticed, we've launched a (slightly hidden :@) preview of the new Adventurer's Log system.

It isn't currently linked to as we are still performance testing it - our players make very good guinea pigs!

So, in case you haven't found it, here's an official link to it for you to peruse at your leisure:

Please bear with us if you notice something wrong with it; we originally launched this yesterday and have spent some time tweaking it to make it more resilient to the vast amount of load it's already received!

O_o What does it do? O_o

Well, you can see your (and your friends') recent events (like level ups, quest completions, boss monster kills etc) as well as your current skill stats, your current avatar, and (when you've logged in) you can see your current friend list (just yours though!), as well as your total time you've spent in RuneScape!

Soon, we'll be officially launching it, and posting more information about how it works and what it does in the customer support section of the website. I'm not going to commit to a date though!

P.S. Mod_Svend should get the credit here as he's one of the main developers of the system; I just helped launch it! Hooray for Mod_Svend!

PLEASE check this first post every now and again as I update it with bits and bobs as we think of them...

EDIT: Few things to note:
Only members have an Adventurer's Log. This will remain, for now, the same after the Beta period is over.

The friend events you see are based on your clan-chat rankings; it will display up to 20 ranked friends, or 10 unranked friends (sorted by most recently added).

People with profile issues:
THIS IS FIXED!!!

"Logged in" features
When I have mentioned "you must be logged in to see ..." (like for the in-game time, friends list etc), I mean you must be logged into the website, not the game! There's login link on the top right on the Adventurer's Log page, just to the right of the menu.

It's kinda like asking someones age in RL, many people don't care if you know or not and some would rather not say. Don't feel bad if you don't want to say that's fine. Anyways I'd like everyone (who wants) to post what their game time is (it says on your profile when you log into it). The time listed is the exact total time spent logged in not a count of real time since account activation.

I'm gonna feel silly if I'm the only one who posts so comon and post!

My total time in-game is:

203 days, 16 hours

I went ahead and took care of this for you.

Anyways, I've been playing for 405days last time I checked. I've probably added about 5-6 hours to that now though.

They've now added the Adventurer's Log to the menu at the top of runescape.com under the Community menu. Also, after players requesting this, clicking on the RSOF avatar heads takes you to the Log for that person, very helpful for quickly checking the stats for someone on the forums!

I had noticed they added it to the menu bar at the top of the pages, but I hadn't noticed the forum avatars linking to it like that. That's really really helpful!
