This thread contains a copy of the blank character template that must be submitted for all characters. The form contains helpful advice and information on the character information fields to help in your application.
Please copy and paste this form into your character application thread before filling out
all of the information sections.

Once you've posted your application it'll be reviewed by a member of staff. If we feel you have any corrections or additions to make before we can accept your character we'll discuss them with you to help you create the best character you can for the board and setting. Soon after you'll be ready to get writing in the world of Deep Six.

What does your character do for a living? What are his/her special skills?

You need to include likes, dislikes, weaknesses, strengths, opinions, social quirks etc. One hundred words minimum.

What does your character look like, what clothes does he/she normally wear, how tall are they, how much do they weigh, what is their physique like? One hundred and fifty words minimum.
[b]Medical:[/b]
Has your character ever suffered from any major illness or recurring past injury that might affect them now? Do they have any serious disabilities or disfigurements? re they currently injured or ill due to the current circumstances (or otherwise).
Also, this section includes cybernetics. The technology for clean, sustainable and effective cybernetics has been available for almost one hundred years. Unfortunately, these cybernetics are frowned upon by many people as unseemly and as disfiguring and ugly as the missing limbs/organs/functions they replace. Moreover, these cybernetics are incredibly rare and expensive. Most cybernetics are seen only on the incredibly rich or on current or ex-military special service personnel. (We don't want or expect to see a whole load of major - or even minor - cybernetic implants. We don't want a multitude of rich doctors or military personnel)

Try to include your character’s place of birth, origins, family, education, work and how they came to be on Deep Six (The DsECV ‘Nomad’) 300 words minimum.

Prove to us you can write the character that you just set out in your application by writing a sample in character, in a situation of your choice. Three hundred words minimum.
