Well i don't mean to make a whole new topic just to ask a basic question but in general when can we atleast expect to test the game out abit.

I don't lay BYOND much anymore but i do zoom in and out of here once and awhile to see when it's going to be up.

I'm just wondering if you could give us the low down as to what your currently doing and how far along you've come if you don't mind.

yea im not really on byond either but im pretty sure the game is at its alpha phase
wich brings me to

Alpha
Software undergoes alpha testing as a first step in getting user feedback. Alpha is Latin for "doesn't work."

Beta
Software undergoes beta testing shortly before it's released. Beta is Latin for "still doesn't work." It is worth noting that "Release 1.0" can also be translated as "still doesn't work but rent was due".

and lastly

Computer
Instrument of torture. The first computer was invented by Roger "Duffy" Billingsly, a British scientist. In a plot to overthrow Adolf Hitler, Duffy disguised himself as a German ally and offered his invention as a gift to the surly dictator. The plot worked. On April 8, 1945, Adolf became so enraged at the "Incompatible File Format" error message that he shot himself. The war ended soon after Hitler's death, and Duffy began working for IBM.

Do you realise that the post you replied to was Months old? I suppose that some activity is better than no activity. But this forum is mostly dead, no reason to post somewhat spammy posts.

I agree. No reason to spam. PT is a tough game with a rough dev schedule. As usual, BYONDers want instant gratification.

You mean this game is actually still going? I thought it died sometime around November 2007. That's when all posting activity seems to have ceased. (Although this is exactly what happened with Hedgemistress, and she came back.)

Still going? That is a relative term. It never died. How about that? If somebody IMs me directly about it I'll tell them it's scrapped just to get them off my back. The forums are always open for discussion. Just because there isn't always one doesn't make that an excuse. BYONDers use this forum more as a springboard to play a game more than a developer's table.

Hey guys, i made a topic ages ago in like 2008. It's actually still sitting there.

Just curious, i really really wanted to play this back in the day.

Is this thing still going on... or is it you know.. abandoned?

I understand you don't like to be asked Justin but it would be nice to fill your fans in wether or not this is ever to hit a release.

If so, what stage is it at?

Thanks

Please refer to:

Quite frankly, I didn't respond to this topic for so long because Glubby has never actually played Project Talon and just keeps asking how it's going on the forum. The main reason was because he hasn't logged in since he made that topic, so I figured it didn't make sense to reply to the topic if he's not going to read it.
