Title: Why Hello Thar!
Description: Behind The Hero

America - December 12, 2012 02:59 AM (GMT)
Hey guys! So, apparently I'm already known among some of the staff for lurking around here for a while before actually joining. Now I guess I've made my official entrance, so to speak. =P

So...a few things about me, I guess?

- I'm 23 years old and female
- I reside in the state of Michigan in the good ol' US of A. XD
- Right now, I'm working retail. I have a general associate's degree and hope to go back for my bachelor's soon, but need to work out what I want my bachelor's in and where to go before I do that. Decisions decision.
- I'm actually something of a newbie to Hetalia. An online friend and I delved into it together back in May, literally both watching episodes on youtube at the same time and discussing it over skype. Twas fun, and now we both RP Hetalia. =P
- I feel like America was a natural for me to play. I've been into American history since elementary school, going through a phase in 5th grade where I was really into the American Revolution, just as an example. Other than that, as far as nations go, I've also rped Canada and Belarus, as well as original Michigan character and a Niagara Falls character.
- This is my third Hetalia site.
- I've been writing for quite a while. I wrote my first story out on paper when I was 8. I've been RPing online for 9 1/2 years now. Come May, it'll be 10.
- I know a lot of people say Hetalia got them into history...well, history helped me get into Hetalia.

That is about all I can think of for now. I'm hoping to enjoy my time here and get to know all of you better in the near future. =)

Nice to meet you! By the looks of things you've already been welcomed in the cbox, but let me welcome you here, too.

Your third Hetalia site, you say, you must be kept pretty busy. By the sounds of things you'll be able to teach me some history; my own high school history classes are dim and distant memories, partially because that class seemed to be mostly in the afternoons and I often skipped or slept through it. And yet here I am, learning about for fun anthromorphically. Go figure. Perhaps that shows that if you present things as either attractive or amusing people will be more willing listen.

Hopefully at some point we will be able to thread, or at very least meet in the cbox. Until then, very nice to meet you.

That's honestly really nice to see now. Sometimes I feel like the only one in this fandom who got in for the history and actually stayed this long... :'D

America, I didn't see you there. You seem like a friend of mine when she/he roleplays Im Yong Soo--it's something that is a natural talent. Your voice as a writer already seems renowned here. Well ^-^, 久闻大名 [your name is famous] <--that greeting doesn't seem so formal when you are already treated like a king. ---->你怎么样? [what's up?] seems to be the way you speak to everyone despite their rank.

Ni hao ma, nice to meet you, I'm your neighborhood China.
