Dont post here please, this will be edited by me with updates of each tip (with date) when they were added, I will also have a Q&A part too!
As you will see this has a huge potential of getting cramped, so I may have to make a seperate Q&A area as well, followed by seperate areas for each of our top posters
Tips: 1: When making an Imperial guard tank it is best to remember how to make it, that way you speed things up by not having to read the instructions and you can have your own versions of tanks, with green stuff to help make your figure 'stand out' (28th September, DoLhades) 2: With the current Leman Russ (and Leman Russ Demolisher) kits it is possible to attach the turret weapons using magnets, allowing you the flexibility to tailor your Russ's main weapon for your next battle. (28th September, Castellan Steele) 3: When painting marines it is sometimes best to use the online painter that can be found elsewhere (please tell me the web adress, I think it is the bolt and chainsword...) (28th September, DoLhades) 4: Try painting your models while on the sprue. This makes it much easier to get into the nooks and crannies in most models. Larger units like tanks and Sentinels should be partially assembled before adding a camouflage pattern so that it looks coherent. Finally, all models should be touched up after painting and assembling. This is the time to fine-tune a paint job, and cover up the spots where the model was connected to the sprue. (29th September, Trooper425) 5: Before painting a whole army a colour, use a single figure, paint the colour scheme in mind and then if you think it looks good, start painting the rest of the army (29th September, DoLhades)
NOTE: This is expanding extremely quickly, soon I may have to split the tips...
