as mentioned in caroline’s app, she’s currently six months pregnant. the father of her child is this guy here, a guy that she’s seen on the bay often during her many visits. for the past few years they’ve been playing some sort of a game, always running into each other. they’d never actually spoken before, but it was their silent sort of flirting. one night, lina dragged him to bed, something that started a months long fling between the two of them. it continued right up until the night before she left to go back to new Orleans, and that’s exactly how their growing baby to be came about. now, whether this fling occurred while he was in a relationship with his new fiancée, or if they were on a break or simply had a whirlwind romance is completely up to you. i intended for him to be a bit mysterious and broody, very private and insular, but if you’d rather not, that’s fine too! he and caroline are not intended finals, i’d rather just see how their relationship goes. as of right now he does not know that the baby caroline’s carrying is his, he probably doesn’t even know she’s back in town now or that she’s pregnant in the first place. if you have any questions feel free to post here or pm me and i’ll answer them!

also mentioned in caroline’s app is the fact that the father of her child has just announced his engagement to another girl. whether he was dating this girl last winter when lina conceived her child is completely up in the air. there’s a lot of options – a whirlwind romance, the two of them being on a break, an affair – any of these options work for me. no one’s going to like it when another woman wanders into your relationship claiming to be carrying your fiance’s baby, so i doubt that caroline will be her favorite person in the world. lina’s not seeking to destroy their relationship, and she’ll be the first to admit that she was naïve thinking that everything would go back to normal when she returned to the bay. if you have any questions feel free to post here or pm me and i’ll answer them!
